$3.60 by June? In what reality? In parts of L.A., we’re already paying over $4.00. At least one station in Northern California is charging over $5.00.

Whining Americans addicted to oil. It costs more in most other countries. Even Canada is over $4.00 a gallon at $1.12 per liter.

meanwhile in my neighborhood, the high-volume local stores are selling MILK at $3.98 a gallon, the smaller store that I usually shop at is selling a gallon at $4.29.
A gallon COSTS them $3.64. A ten percent profit margin would result in a cost to me of $4. I don’t mind payoing more at the small store because its more convenient and Ive shopped there for over a decade.

Guess the Energy Information Administration (paid by our tax $$s?) just can’t keep focused long enough to get it right. Pacific NW has been +3.75 in Columbia River Gorge this year. Wonder if they are ever going to get busted and pay us back the mega bucks they stole from Washington and Oregon?

The cheapest I’ve seen in N. Cali is $3.59 for 87 octane.

Predicting gas will be $3.60 by July……I’m not in awe of these non-rocket scientists.

I predict that the cost of gasoline will increase until about December 15, 2008. Then there will be a drastic reduction to about $2.00 per gallon by January 21, 2009. When the Democratic Congress passes a retroactive excess (windfall)profits tax they will scream “Who, us?” And Daddy Bush and The Dick Cheney will flip us all off on their way to the Cayman Islands Bank.
