Appearing on Fox News this past Sunday, Sen. John McCain attempted to turn his infamously combustible temper from an electoral liability into political strength.
“If I lose my capacity for anger, then I shouldn’t be president of the United States,” the Senator explained to host Chris Wallace. “When I see the waste and corruption in Washington, I get angry.”
You must be angry all the time, I’m thinking anger management classes are in order. And for the first time I completely agree with you; you shouldn’t be president of the United States.
In 60 seconds, a more poignant statement can not be made on how far we have gotten in 5 years – nowhere.
Now multiply that progress by twenty, you still get nowhere!
Very simply stated and very powerful. The only thing I would change is to add the running totals of dead American service members at the various six month marks.
Wars are not meant to be won. Wars are meant to be fought. The great purpose of War has been to transfer wealth from the masses to the few. In War, oversight on government spending hinders the war effort. Civil liberties hinder the war effort. Those who oppose the war are unpatriotic, traitors even, and must be expunged. Dissent is stiffled, while those who commit atrocities are welcomed as heros.
The perfect war is one that cannot be won but must always be fought. The military industry has been looking for this war since it first discovered the profits from the world wars.
The tried and failed with Korea and Vietnam. They almost had a winner in the phony ‘war on drugs’, but they just couldn’t scare soccer moms enough with the threat of their kids trying marijuana, the soccer moms having some experience with that themselves, so support for that phony war deteriorated (although it still goes on).
Enter the “war on Terror”. Can’t be won. Ever. Must be fought. Always. Focus groups report Soccer moms are more frightened of brown men with “dirty nukes” than suburban kids with joints. Easier to manipulate news from a front that is thousands of miles away and on the other side of the ocean.
#8,9,10 — BnF and RT have nailed it. This is exactly the scenario desired by the military industrial complex and their political cronies who now run the government.
That ad isn’t nearly as hard hitting as it could/should have been. With all the pundits and all the politicians talking about 6 months for the last 6 years, they only came up with like 3 examples of it? What a waste.
After this insane war monger dies in a few years this war will be long over. America is voting Democratic this fall and either Clinton or Obama will end this “mistake” of the criminal president.
If only Condi saved her dressessohbet instead of cleaning them. But in today’s twisted America, I don’t believe anything would happen if George Bush was cetcaught in bed with a dead girl AND a live boy. And it all procedes with a cheeky grin and a sickening smugness that is as arrogant as it is insultingBedava mp3 indir.

April 10th, 2008 at 5:53 amMcCain doesn’t have a clue about Foreign Policy. Under his administration our soldiers wouldn’t have a chance of ever coming home.
The vets, he obviously doesn’t care about them either. They served there purpose, why should he be bothered with updating the VA Hospitals.
Every time he opens his mouth and speaks, he shows all of us what a mental giant he is. Heavy, Heavy Sarcasm….

April 10th, 2008 at 7:30 amthat is a very powerful video.
I would also add the number of Iraqi dead at six month intervals (even vastly underestimated numbers are chilling).
it’s not just Americans suffering in Iraqi!

April 10th, 2008 at 8:53 amI’m John McCain and I want to continue to fight a half ass war for 100 years. “I don’t have to pay for it”.

April 10th, 2008 at 11:28 amThe blogs have started efforts to defeat McCain, and appear to have cooled it trashing our own..
It’s a good thing.
