ACTUALLY, someone shouuld get a buunch of army recruiting pamphlets, mail one to every republican in the house, along with a letter that says “if you were one of the one booing, could you please encourage your children to enlist to join the valiant struggle in iraq you so enthusiastically support”?

I remember awhile back when some lady in congres, I think it was Boxer, told Inhofoe(??) basically to sit down and shut up, that he wasnt it charge anymore. Beautiful. The guy probably went home and beat his wife (and the 14 year old vietnamese boy he probably keeps in his basement). Nothing more amusing in this world by watching an assertive woman put her boot up the azz of some man who thinks he owns the world..

Some Republicans booed. Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Vista, walked out of the chamber. Speier, an 18-year state legislator known for taking on tough issues and interests, was nonplussed at the mini-controversy.

“The truth is, I think it was a minority of Republicans that were booing – and they represent a minority of Americans who still support the war,” Speier said by phone Thursday.

To bad we can’t replace all the Republicans with more Representatives like her. I know wishful thinking on my part. I have always been optimistic.
