Self-proclaimed ‘Godfather of Green’ now among the ‘Dirty Dozen.’
Despite calling himself the “Godfather of Green” and touting his environmental record, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was added yesterday to the League of Conservation Voters’s (LCV) 2008 “Dirty Dozen” list. LCV said it would wait “to see if the McConnell-led Republicans allow debate and votes on a bill to deal with global warming before determining how much it will spend on ads against him this fall.”

The only reason these people have any power is that they are very good liars. They care nothing for reality or for the truth. They only care for themselves. And they are bigots pure and simple.

In 24 years in the Senate, he earned an annual score of 0% twelve times, and in the last fourteen years, McConnell has cast only two pro-conservation votes.
Scoring 0% twelve times in 14 years, I wonder how much money Big Oil Companies gave him to have such a complete disregard for the environment?
April 11th, 2008 at 10:32 pmThe LVC should not wait — they should do everything possible to defeat Mitch McConnell. He is a pathological liar on every topic, including the environment, where his voting record is deplorable.
Add to that his never-ending lies about the Iraq War. This week he lied about McWar’s comment about “100 Years” in Iraq. How do I know Mitch is a low-life liar? I live in Kentucky.
