Alberto Gonzales unable to find work.
Drudge reports, “Tough Job Market: Former attorney general Alberto Gonzales has been unable to interest law firms in adding his name to their roster…developing…” TNR’s Isaac Chotiner quips, “Riiight–it’s the tough job market.”
Update The New York Times reports, "The greatest impediment to Mr. Gonzales’s being offered the kind of high-salary job being snagged these days by lesser Justice Department officials, many lawyers agree, is his performance during his last few months in office."

Maybe that’s because all the law firms he’s applied to have a mission statement on the front wall that says they will obey and apply the law as it is written equally for everyone who asks for their assistance. Why would Alberto Gonzalez seek employment in a firm like that? Hence, he can’t find any work.

Gonzales protected Bush’s DUI charge from becoming public. He was needed for the Hispanic vote in 2000. His reward was to become White House council to the President. Doing a great job with converting the US Constitution Gonzales was given the title of Attorney General while Cheney/Rove run the DOJ. Now tossed out like trash Gonzales can’t find a job and has even lost his family. Now with no support of his fellow Hispanic as he turned his back on them. Gonzales’s family were immigrants that might be the way Al has to go.

Look Powell is looking to be Defense Secretary and Connie wants Secretary of State job. Obama uses Dr. Kings speeches so well he might put Gonzales in as Attorney General if he gets him the Hispanic votes. Look Richards didn’t even get alot of Hispanic votes but he’s sucking up to Obama for a job. Politics make strange bed fellows, you just never know anymore.
I expect to see him soon under a bridge trestle, holding up a sign saying “Will Torture for Food.”
