It is more readable. I like it. Suggestion: I’d like to see a third “flag”. Recommend and Report Abuse is too binary. I’d like to see a “REALLY STUPID” button for the folks (think exely). They don’t normally rise to “abuse” status but are definitely “STUPID SPIN”.

I appreciate the changes, it looks great and is much easier to read.

I like the changes, but we need the flag and recommend back. I have another suggestion. I have seen, lately, a “featured comment” at the bottom of some posts. How about that comment be automatic and refresh itself depending on how many “recommends” it has gained. Like, after the second “recommend”, post that comment. Then if a different comment gets 3 “recommends”, post that one, and so on. That way we get to see the featured comments we choose rather than you choose.

I like “recommending” particularly insightful comments, and it’s nice to be able to flag the halfwit trolls — I think it gives TP a heads-up about what’s happening on the threads.

I noticed the “Recommend” and “Report Abuse” links are gone.

if it was intentional, I do think it’s a bad decision: It’s going to be difficult to keep the trolls away.

Most of the changes are great but I really don’t like the dark background. It doesn’t improve readability and just gives the site a gloomy look. Please go back to a lighter background, there’s enough gloom around these days.

Ahh, yes. You may be right, but I was in fact referring to his site metaphorically, as a sort of metal and/or wooden plate used as a point of attachment for other parts. gummitch, I think toasterhead was referring to gib as in giblets. Was he snarking him for a ‘turkey’???
