This is EXACTLY why Democratic candidates have been reluctant to debate on Fox News — everybody knows this is what a Fox News Democratic debate would look like.

The Labor Department said Thursday that applications for unemployment benefits rose to 372,000, an increase of 17,000 from the previous week. That was higher than the gain of 12,000 that many economists had expected.

The debate last night was a disgusting debacle. ABC is the poster boy now for the level to which mainstream media has sunk.

It was more like a neocon circle jerk than a debate.

I had to turn it off.

Where was that anger when ABC was censoring virtually every major news story for the past seven years?

Because many Americans have become to complacent. They have concluded they can’t do anything about it. What they don’t realize is they truly can, with petitions, emails, grassroots organizations and many other options.

I think our justice system was broken before the bush admin.

80% of people in prison are there for non-violent drug convictions.
We have more people in prison than the whole rest of the world combined, including China and Russia.

That being said, I would say that our justice system is even more disfuncitional since bush and his efforts to use the doj for political hits and getting away with it due to his judicial appointees ruling against the people and in favor of the “unitary president”

I couldn’t agree with you more, not just anger, but outright indignation. For ABC to think that the public is not interested in these very important news stories. I admit there was a time I was complacent, but I had my own battles with my local school system to comply with educating children with disabilities properly that took up much of my time. That is no excuse though. I realized there were many other problems that needed to be addressed outside of my own city.

The corporate news networks would have 24/7 coverage with no commerical interruptions for at least a month.

Every AM radio station propagandist would be shouting for impeachment and hanging. Every person in America would know every word in the documents.

But those documents indicted a Republican/Corporate/Fascist President so it’s as if they don’t exist.

Ah…how the media creates our reality, it’s quite amazing isn’t it?
