Yesterday, CNN’s Larry King asked First Lady Laura Bush whether she has a “favorite” between Sens. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Barack Obama (D-IL) in the presidential race. Laura replied, “My favorite is the Republican.” King then turned to her daughter, Jenna, who said she wasn’t sure if she would vote for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ): “I don’t know.” Watch it:
Laura also said that it has been “demoralizing” to hear the Democrats criticize her husband. Bush “takes a huge pounding from the other candidates, not all of them, not my candidate, John McCain,” said Laura.
What will she do at the Hague?? Cookies won’t work.
April 24th, 2008 at 9:58 amHow can these evil people have no consciousness?
April 24th, 2008 at 10:00 amPoor George. People say mean things about him. Because?
His administration is a failure, a tragedy, and an embarrassment, that we may never recover from!
April 24th, 2008 at 10:00 amYou sleep with the dogs, you get to scratch the fleas….
April 24th, 2008 at 10:00 amJenna wanted to know candidates’ position on the legal drinking age, forgetting she didn’t have to worry about that anymore.

Laura, we’re drowning out here!
April 24th, 2008 at 10:04 amRayman, I think it might be more appropriate to say,
“You sleep w/ the pigs, you get covered w/ pig shi…”
April 24th, 2008 at 10:05 amI wonder what the Bushes talk about at dinner every night?
“Hi honey… I’m home… boy, you’ll never guess who I had tortured today…”
April 24th, 2008 at 10:06 amBoo-frickn’-hoo, Laura. You feel demoralized because people criticize the ignoramus you married.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:07 amYou should feel demoralized because you married the worst president in history. You should feel demoralized because he is responsible for death and destruction, for deceit, for insensitivity to the average person, for cruelty, for stupidity, for warmongering, and for shredding the Constitution.
Laura Bush lives in such a strange little fantasy world. Is it more demoralizing to hear from critics about your husband, to see polls showing that he is among the most unpopular Presidents ever, or to know that your husband has been personally involved in allowing the United States to torture prisoners of war against the tenets of the Geneva Convention, American law, and the tenets of common decency? I doubt anyone who had a soul could sleep next to that man each night.

I like it. I’m stealing it. But, I’ll offer this in return.
When one forms a reputation as an honest, honorable, respectful, person; one will be treated with honor and respect. When one establishes a reputation as a lying scumbag; one will receive scorn and contempt.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:10 amLaura also said that it has been “demoralizing” to hear the Democrats criticize her husband.
That is nothing compared to what he deserves for allowing prisoners to be tortured and the crimes he has committed for 7 1/2 years. Sorry I have no sympathy.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:13 amActually ,maybe he wouldn’ be such an ignoramus if old man bush and queeny babs actually did beat his ass once in awhile.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:14 amOr at least reduced his allowance to jethro’s 50 cent a week
And I normally don’t support corporal punishment, but in bushbaby’s case I could make an exemption.

April 24th, 2008 at 10:18 amAw, bugger off, twit.
Easy comment for you to make, but on what basis?
Are you okay w/ torture?

Well, nobody’s perfect.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:22 amHillary’s downing those shots probably attracted the alcoholic vote.
Note to Laura: It’s easy to be demoralized when you have no morals. (Remember that pesky invasion?)
April 24th, 2008 at 10:23 amAny thing Laura Bush blathers cannot be taken seriously for as stupid as King George the Dumb is, Laura has to be dumber. For proof just look at who they married.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:25 amWe’ve all lived under the ‘Bush Bubble’ for nearly 8 years…
We’ve watched America erode as if in slow motion…
Prices doubled, tripled and more. Civil rights eroded, buried and forgotten.
Our young killed and maimed in an illegal invasion.
Truth became a dirty word, hidden behind signing orders, Executive Privilege and warrantless spying on American citizens.
When truth is pursued, pursuers are called traitors, radicals or terrorists.
The Bush Bubble is like a cancer, slowly eating away the moral fiber and staunch support of personal liberties while infecting education, healthcare and personal well being.
Can this moral and social disease be eradicated by one election? Probably not, but Americans need to realize McCain will perpetuate the Bush Bubble.
It’s time to break this bubble, Americans. Demand accountability and quick investigations from your congress critter. Ask them to initiate charges against Bush, Cheney, Rove, et al. Ask them to have Patrick Fitzgerald head up the investigation.
Let’s not allow America to die. If we do, Freedom dies with it.

There’s a post on Crooks and Liars detailing congress’ efforts to rectify this situation and Bush’s refusal to cooperate and veto threats. So, Bush supporters, everything’s just fine with how your president is handling things?
April 24th, 2008 at 10:33 amThis women is as souless and heartless as her litte ol dubya and his greedy, crooked , corrupt friends. Can you say impeachment and war crime trials.

You folks have some real issues. Lets try not to hate so much. Lets give that a shot.
____________________________________________
I think you are confusing our anger for hatred. We are angry that this administration has tripled our national debt, started two lost-cause wars, has gotten the U.S. in debt up to our eyeballs to other countries (particularly China), is breaking our military, has squandered all the goodwill from the rest of the world we received right after 9/11, has essentially set himself up as a unitary executive, is trampling all over the Bill of Rights, has made the rich richer and the poor poorer, and has pretty much proclaimed he is accountable to no one. And this is just a partial list.
Any patriot American would be angry as a result of these activities. Yet you dismiss our complaints as “some real issues” in a condescending way. Yeah, we DO have some real issues with the way Bushco has operated for the last two terms. My question is — why are YOU OK with it?

Yes, can’t we just get along with deceitful, insensitive, cruel, stupid, warmongering, torturers, who are responsible for death, destruction, and shredding the Constitution? C’mon people, have some compassion for a murderous war criminal, won’t you?
April 24th, 2008 at 10:36 am“You folks have some real issues.”
Yes, we do have some real issues: unjust war, torture, private armies, no-bid contracts, looting and pillaging, tearing up the Constitution, and other little things like that.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:37 amVerbalKint, if you will just leave you TV tuned to Fox News, you won’t have to worry yourself about all those nasty little issues.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:39 amQuestion: WHY does Jenna Bush get screen time? She doesn’t appear to be informed, she’s not a pundit, and the only thing she can discuss with any knowledge are the details of her wedding.
For her not to have given any thought to who she wants for the next president at this point in the race is just bizarre. If she DOES have a preference and would rather keep that to herself, she could just say so and not sound like an idiot.
And as far as Laura’s complaint about the “pounding” her husband is getting — live with it. Your husband is the leader of this country and has been doing a crappy job. And we the people have had it.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:40 amEvery time I see a picture or video of Laura, I’m reminded of the high strung, uptight character played by Catherine O’hara in Bettlejuice.
Oh, and Laura, the reason your candidate “pound your husband” is because he has the little (R) after his name.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:43 am’nuff said. Now, go take your Xanax, and STFU!

too much so-be energy drink.
Sorry

Is there a more callous , ignorant , disconnected and clueless group than the Shrub family ?
They make the Manson Family seem like the Brady Bunch …..
April 24th, 2008 at 10:49 amActually, DRxJ, it’s not so much that little (R) after his name but rather…
***clearing of the throat…***
… because his Admin has been such a complete and colossal failure and disaster in almost every conceivable way. If he had a little (D) after his name, we’d all be just as outraged, for the exact same reasons.
Truthfully, at this point, that little (R) has simply become emblematic and synonymous w/ failure, corruption, deceit… you name it.

Loser, please detail all the wonderful and positive things herr dubyah has done for this country.

I live in The Netherlands – I don’t feel dead and I’m fairly certain I and everyone else here is (are?) free
Disclaimer to all haters: I love America, I am American, but don’t wear my patriotism on my sleeve, nor do I need to, to know, live and understand that the USA, democracy and Western civilization have much more good than bad (present US administration excepting) and that Freedom will continue with or without the constructs of borders and survive even Bush
April 24th, 2008 at 10:54 amPoor Laura. Democrats are such big meanies! I’m sure your husband never said a single bad word about Clinton in the 2000 campaigns
So far I think the Democrats have let Bush off easy. There are lot more truths to be told about him and hopefully Obama will step it up in the GE capaign
April 24th, 2008 at 10:58 amAh yes, Jenna has been to busy with books. I see that despite all the loss of mental capacity the Bush clan have suffered these past few years, sarcasm is still a prime weapon to be wielded on unsuspecting octagenarians.
April 24th, 2008 at 10:59 amThe Republic of Stupidity Says:

April 24th, 2008 at 11:03 amShorter Jenna: Derpa, derpa, derpa…
April 24th, 2008 at 11:10 amI don’t watch Larry King, stopped even peaking in on his show’s year’s ago..Can’t take the fluff and no substance of the whole routine….I’m sure this interview was just like all the other’s…Pandering to the viewer’s that want to know every little thing about someone the media think’s they should be interested in…Yuck!
This entire family and administration is pure evil…Any logical person know’s all the evil they have done and continue to do…There is no wondering what Laura and the rest think….Laura is just as guilty, running down her boyfriend at a young age is proof posative…Every night she lay’s her head down on the same bed is proof posative she agrees with this evil man and all he has done…If she thought any diffrently she would of moved out long ago…Give us a break they all are criminal’s and should be treated as such..None of them deserve air time only jail time…Blessings
.
April 24th, 2008 at 11:19 am“I’ve honestly been too busy with books to pay that much attention”
Boy , what a chip off the old block(head) Jenna sure is …….
What friggin’ “book” could be more important than trying to save this country from your moronic father , you empty-headed bim ?
My Pet Goat ?
April 24th, 2008 at 11:19 amOur nation is in a mess, the world is beging to fight over food, gas is going to go to $6 per gallon and Larry the Fu&^ing idiot has the Bush family on discussing how do you feel? It’s no wonder this nation is going in the toilet. Other nations protest in the streets when change is needed and what do we do , watch Larry King to see how bad the leaders wife feels.
Damm, are we that stupid?
April 24th, 2008 at 11:41 amLaura Bush, I really don’t give a flying fu(k how you feel. (However, saying that made me feel a whole lot better)
April 24th, 2008 at 12:02 pmShhhhhh
You guys, let’s just all repress and silence ourselves and not give any factual criticisms. They upset the Queen…
April 24th, 2008 at 12:02 pmHey Laura, if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
April 24th, 2008 at 12:35 pmDoubt she can cook, though I hear she has been swapping recipes with mrs. mccain. Has this country ever had such a limp first lady before?
April 24th, 2008 at 12:59 pmI knew that I loved Jenna before, but now I’m absolutely sure about it. This beautiful young women has an open mind and that speaks volumes for her. I think she should run for President when she’s old enough. I’m a Democrat but I’d vote for Jenna Bush any day.
April 24th, 2008 at 1:18 pmYou guys are being to hard on Laura. Come on it’s not like she can divorce that idiot she married. How would she live, she’s never had a real job. When women like her sign up they sign up for the long haul regardless of how dumb their husbands are. I actually admire her for having the courage to stand up for that dummy. Being married to the worst President in American history isn’t easy, just ask former first lady Pat Nixon. They are the “stand by your man” type and they can’t change. She was raised to be the stepford wife, it’s in her DNA. I actually hated her when they first got in office, but now I feel sorry for her. Oh I forgot the movie
April 24th, 2008 at 1:27 pmWow, I been looking for a completely stupid RICH woman all my life, but to find TWO!…..I’m in LOVE…..
April 24th, 2008 at 1:29 pmShadow says:
Come on it’s not like she can divorce that idiot she married.
She actually tried that a number of years ago when Bush was still drinking, snorting and carousing out in the open.
April 24th, 2008 at 2:03 pmBabs Bush put a quick halt to that thought – threats, bribery and blackmail. Too bad she wasn’t so hard on her own offspring, crooks and liars all.
We’ll see, there’s no middle ground with her comment though; either she’s REALLY living under a rock or she’s really doesn’t know about McCain in the sense of voting for him.
Either way it sounds like a positive for Obama,…if she hasn’t been living under a rock
April 24th, 2008 at 4:34 pmHow can Jenna go wrong? With a sperm donor for a father and a surrogate mother she can’t be all bad like the unreal Bushes.
April 24th, 2008 at 4:53 pmIs it possible Jenna actually hsa a brain and uses it, unlike her parents? That’s amazing…
