You can’t have it both ways. Either you agree with Pastor Hagee’s philosophies or you distance yourself from him. His beliefs are very narrow for a man of the cloth. All fire and brimstone.

But saying “It’s nonsense” eight times is not going to make it go away.

Do you feel the same about Obama’s relationship with Rev. Wright? Rev. Wright still endorses Obama.

There is a huge difference between Rev. Wright and Pastor Hagee. Pastor Hagee has got to be the most negative, narrow minded and insensative man (of God). I don’t have an issue with Obama’s past relationship.

Rev. Wright works within the framework of the UCC and is subject to peer review. After perusing just about everything I could find, about Rev. Wright, I came up with the same 30 seconds of, expertly and maliciously edited, video in the negative column. When the video is viewed in context it becomes far less “negative”.

Pastor Hagee formed his own church/denomination which reflects his personal interpretation of scripture. No peer review. He’s been implicated in financial scandals. He has devoted books to the subject of eliminating Islam. Repeatedly calls the Catholic Church the “great whore”. Blames Katrina on the gays. Calls for preemptive strikes on Iran and other Muslim nations. Calls unconditional military support for Israel, including attacking those who threaten Israel, “God’s foreign policy” while regretting that all the Jews are going to Hell. Tells his congregation, including young children, that they MUST accept Jesus as their Lord and Master, or, burn in Hell forever. Has been widely known for years as a hateful radical who will do everything in his power to hasten the Rapture. I have yet to see a positive comment from anyone who isn’t part of his congregation or seeking his endorsement.

Conclusion? I wouldn’t ever trust John Hagee around kids, weapons, or my wallet. On the other hand, I would trust Rev.Wright with power of attorney, or the care of children, without hesitation.

The reich has taken to using a few clips out of this man’s TWENTY YEARS of sermons — and you are willing to condemn Rev. Wright – who proved his patriotism serving his country in the Marines for years – on the basis of 3 or 4 clips taken completely out of context?

In February, you shared a stage with Pastor John Hagee and said you were “very proud” to have his endorsement. You also called the Reverend Rod Parsley, a man who said of Islam “America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed”, your “spiritual guide.” Do you believe America’s mission is to destroy Islam? Do you join Pastor Hagee in believing the United States must attack Iran to fulfill the biblical prophecy of Armageddon in Israel in which 144,000 Jews will be converted to Christianity and the rest killed? Is that why you joked about “bomb bomb Iran?” If not, why will you not renounce the support of Hagee and Parsley?

Really? Is that how you interpret the words “I can no more disown Rev. Wright than I can the Black community”? I have a copy of that speech on my coffee table – he does not disassociate himself from Wright, only from Wright’s comments.

As far as McCain seeking Hagees endorsement, how does that stack up against 20 years of sermons, baptizing your children, marrying you, worst of all letting your children listen to that?

Do you notice Obama himself never brings up McCain and Hagee? Why do you think that is? If you want Wright and William Ayers to become part of the campaign, by all means highlight Nutjob Hagee. But O himself is too smart to do it.

McCain called Hagees comments nonsense 8 times.

OK, if McCain says nonsense 9 times, he can keep the endorsement.

I mean, they attack all the Democrats, Obama in particular, even when they denounce supporters, so let’s watch them attack Hagee & McCain!
