If Hagee knew the mind of “god”, he wouldn’t be such a hateful homo-phobe. He’s not sorry for being a bigot, but he’s sorry for claiming he knew god’s mind concerning hurricane Katrina striking New Orleans. Since he admits he doesn’t know the mind of god concerning hurricane Katrina, he should also admit he doesn’t know the mind of god concerning god’s creation of gay people. Not to put to fine a point on it, but if Hagee doesn’t know god’s mind about one thing, he can’t know it about anything!

A storm which fills nearly the entire Gulf of Mexico seems a rather blunt instrument to stop a parade on Decatur St.

The hurricane didn’t even make it’s landfall in New Orleans.

What about all those white Republicans in Mississippi on the Redneck Riviera? You know, where the hurricane hit dead center and wiped everything out?

Hagee did not retract the views expressed. Only the part attributing them to God. Hagee still apparently believes that Katrina was revenge for scheduling a gay pride parade. Does McCain support Hagee’s current view on gays being punished by Katrina. Is McCain a homophobia like Hagee?

Oh and I did talk to God and he told me if he was going to wipe out a sinful city he would: A)do a complete job of eliminating the true sinners. B) target a city with the highest density of hypocritical sinners. Only one city qualifies. Washington DC(Although he wouldn’t rule out Minneapolis during the GOP convention).

The more I hear and read of Jeremiah Wright the more I respect him. Hes a great example of how you combine faith, education and reason to do good in this world.
Hagee is the exact opposite and its sad and frightening that the American media treats Wright not Hagee as the crazy dangerous fanatic.
