Another thing you lack: The critical thinking ability to figure out that the uninsured people about whom you find to be so repugnant are using the most expensive care in the world: American emergency rooms. For a visit to the ER for a child’s ear infection can cost upwards of $1000. My family doctor charges $30. The ER does not collect the $1000 because indigent families do not have it and cannot get it. My doctor gets it because it is a small price to pay for good health.

Gee, as a mom, I guess we don’t really need health care, I just need to stop worrying about not having it! Perhaps Mr. McCain will fund a “stop worrying” pill that will mean huge profits for Big Pharma.
