The Republicans made such a mess that it will take years/decades to fix this mess. Also, the democrats have a slim majority in the House and Lieberman is the “majority” in the Senate, so they really don’t have a working majority. But thanks for playing, how’s the meth lab or are you going to the Klan rally? You do have such a busy schedule.

  5. Zooey Says:

VOR, the topic is GWB’s handling of the economy. There’s that reading comprehension problem again. There are adult programs which will help you — check your local library. It’s the building with all the books inside.

Other than attack the wrong country, the idiot-boy-king hasn’t done a godd*amn thing.

    Nothing.

    Congress passes laws dipshit.

The Preznit-wit is supposed to conjure them up.

May I suggest Schoolhouse Rock, for the un-enlightened, dumb-young Repuke-o-trolls.

Hmmm…VOR is reminding me of some other troll (which, btw, I was really trying to give you the benefit of the doubt on…this post sealed it). Zooey? You’re tres excellent at this…who am I trying to remember?

BTW, the term “yellowhead” refers to the pissed-on-heads of the Bush-boot-lickers.

Kiss the foot, relish the urine on your face, fcuking fools.

  10. Ms_Joanne Says:

I wonder if he will reach single digits by the time he leaves office (assuming the boy king ever leaves…watch those false flag, martial law inducing incidents, dontchano).

I wonder how many more will be turned by his general stupidity, incompetence, cronyism, lawlessness, lying, smirking when inappropriate (is it ever appropriate for a president to smirk??), and general offensiveness?

Single digits. That’s my wet dream!

  11. Dr. Hussein Matt Says:

Reich-wingers like VOR refuse to hold their own accountable for anything. This why the reich-wing GOPigs are going to become a permanent minority.

  12. Ms_Joanne Says:

Matt, not a permanent minority, hopefully dead as a door nail and buried deep in the history of rotten politics of America.

Let’s give Boner something to truly cry over.

Wow, Chimpster is even losing the Bush Kool Aid Kult Kidz with those low numbers.

Maybe he should hold a press conference and lecture and whine in a pissy demeanor.

He’s due for that bounce in the polls that Dickwad David Broder was predicting last year.

It’s much higher than Bush’s number.

  17. Jackie Says:

No surprise as Bush now thinks he’s Harry Potter with a magic wand. He’s letting the secret out that Dick Cheney is really Lord Voldemort. The Media is showing just how stupid they are as about two weeks ago Bush said things were great and he was giving out rebate checks. As for the 21 per cent who think Bush is doing a good job either their drunk and high or in on the US robbery with Bush/Cheney. Now those GOP Leaders/Supreme Court Justices/White House staffers with Oil shares are doing real good as we see the profit made.

  18. Ms_Joanne Says:

Freedom, separate dems from goopers and you’ll see a significant difference in points.

    Z…true. :-)

Matt, I concede. You are soooo right!

I am really starting to despise this woman, shes not going to win and I’m completely convinced she’s going to continue to work behind the scenes to screw things up for Obama in the general election so she can try again in 2012. Thankfully the grassroots hatred against her after this election will be so deep that her political career will be finished.

  20. Keith H. Says:

So he has a dismal approval rating on most everything from a high majority of us.
I’m sure that really hurts his feelings.
As far as he and his corporate lap dogs are concerned, things are going very, very well. Nothing but record profits at our expense. Thousands of our people dead, hundreds of thousands of innocent people from other countries dead.
The economy, environment, Constitution and human rights in shambles. Yes, he is performing just as planned.

Does anybody remember when the idiot used to say: “Economy? What economy?”

  24. Doc Rock Says:

Obviously the “buck” never stops at 1600 Pennsylvania since Bush has been there–now he’s trying to lay the blame for his miserable handling of the economy, taxes, war, and energy off on the Congress that had rubber stamped most of his agenda for six years+ ! What a maroon! What a maroon!

  25. Perry logan Says:

    1) President Clinton inherited the biggest surplus in U.S. history from Reagan and Bush Sr.

    2) In eight years, he transformed that massive debt into the biggest surplus in U.S. history.

    3) Bush Jr. then took office, piddled the surplus away, and went on to set yet another world record for economic incompetence.

    Thank you, Republicans!

  26. Nashoba nowa Says:

Lies, Arrogance, Deceit, along with total and complete incompetence hallmark this Administration. The world sees the legacy that will be left.

  27. Nashoba nowa Says:

In answer to freedom lover, if this administration continues on its path, there will be no freedom to love.

  28. bluestatedon Says:

Perry, I know what you were trying to say, but just so that the trolls here don’t die from joy at your post, it should have read:

    1) President Clinton inherited the biggest deficit in U.S. history from Reagan and Bush Sr.

If you examine the percentage of Americans who believe that the sun revolves around the earth and that dinosaurs co-existed with ancient humans, it’s also 21%.

Whats up with that other 3% in this poll?

  32. Wayne Says:

    err 2%

  33. VerbalKint Says:

Just as Bush’s approval on handling the economy has hit an all-time low, the arguments used by his supporters to defend him are also hitting an all-time low. VOR has got nothin’ on the freaks over at the WaPo comment boards who are struggling to pin Bush’s fiascos on the Democrats.

  34. Zimzone Says:

8 out of 10 Americans agree…Bush has failed at Economics.

  35. impeachcheneythenbush Says:

A comment during one of his recent press conferences: “$4.00 gas? I hadn’t heard that….” Yes, it’s obvious Bush has been completely on top of the situation. Yesterday, during his press conference and blaming the Dems for the bad economy, he said that the tax cuts should be made permanent since the uncertainty about them was causing the uncertainty about the economy.

I know what’s up with half of them.

  37. backup Says:

81% of Americans “believe the US is currently in a recession.”

recession - A period of general economic decline; specifically, a decline in GDP for two or more consecutive quarters.

I believe the latest quarter was a weak 6/10 of a percent of growth, but it was positive growth.

We have yet to have even one quarter of decline in GDP, since the last recession in 2001 shortly after Bush took office.

People may believe the economy is weak, but is it weaker now (although we haven’t met the recessionary threshold) than it was in 2001 (when we actually experienced a declining GDP)?

I think there is a fundamental understanding of recession. If you want to argue the economy is weak by other measures, that is very plausible, even probable.

But, to characterize it our current circumstance as a recession seems to be either deceptive or more likely misinformed.

  38. shoeless Says:

The recession will be declared on January 21, 2009, and it will be blamed on Barak Obama.
