Tomorrow, Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) will be a guest on Fox News’s The O’Reilly Factor, a venue that the Washington Post’s Howie Kurtz writes “might not seem the most hospitable environment” for the senator, considering Bill O’Reilly’s frequent criticisms of the Clintons.
In preparation for this segment, O’Reilly tonight asked Karl Rove for what he should ask her. Rove, not surprisingly, told O’Reilly that he should pit Clinton against Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) and ask: “Why did you let Sen. Obama begin his campaign and make a central element his desire for bipartisanship and remain silent about your efforts at bipartisanship?”
O’Reilly, however, said that even that question was “way too smart for me”:
That question is way too smart for me. I have stupid questions, but they’re fun. You’re going to watch, right?
Watch it:
Once again, Fox News failed to disclose Rove’s ties to Sen. John McCain, marking the 84th day without disclosure since Rove became a Fox News analyst. And the Rove Watch continues…

Transcript:
ROVE: Well, I’d first ask her — I’d say look, whether people agree with you or not, when you went to the United States Senate you made a deliberate effort to reach out across party lines and work with Republicans particularly in the Armed Services Committee where you served.
Why did you let Sen. Obama begin his campaign and make a central element his desire for bipartisanship and remain silent about your efforts at bipartisanship? It’s been one of the mysteries of this campaign.
O’REILLY: That question is way too smart for me. I have stupid questions, but they’re fun. You’re going to watch, right?

Yeah, I would go with pledge pins and pastors anyday. Makes much better, and dumber, television.
Ah, the mind of a Fox follower…so empty and vapid, just like its hosts.

I’ll watch. Thanks for helping O’Reilly with his ratings. Not that he really needs it, but every little bit helps.
Of course you will watch as will other ignorant, brain dead, racist cowards. The Nazi Party also got goods ratings, that proves what exactly?

April 29th, 2008 at 10:38 pmEver notice how when these f_ckwits expose themselves for the fascists they are, their followers just bob their heads like f_cking drones?
It makes me sick.

Interesting name you have there. Goes right along with BushCo’s “Blue Skies” Initiative, which allows big oil and coal to pollute like mad, and “Leave No Child Behind,” which leaves many, many children behind.
Kudos for consistency with Chimp World.

Reading comprehension problems, huh? Sorry you were left behind.
Don’t know why she’s going on the show, but yes, Hillary would accept the fascist vote.
April 29th, 2008 at 10:51 pmBecause Hillary is not that different than McBush. As Mark Kleiman says, there are two goopers running now. He’s right-on there.

Curious that “blue state bob” would blindly call someone he doesn’t know a racist based simply on his plan to watch an episode of a TV show ThinkProgress has advertised is on tomorrow, when “blue state bob” has published racist rants on his blog including a lengthy post stereotyping “white trash” and “asians” gambling in a casino. Shame on you racist “bob,” shame.
On my blog I wrote about one of my trips to Foxwoods for a party and how garbage like you were stupidly spending money they didn’t have and I did mention Asians seem to like baccarat, but lying and slander are par for the course from scum like you.
April 29th, 2008 at 10:54 pmAnd my attacks on you are based on the other trash you have posted, not this one inane comment. But thanks for reading, now go back to your Ozark meth lab.

Good Evening Joanne, I couldn’t agree with you more.
Hillary fought the good fight. For the sake of the Democratic Party, I personally would like to finally see her bow out gracefully. What disturbs me most that she has done; is basically say that John McCain’s leadership abilities would be better than Obama’s. She has said this over and over again that she and John McCain are the only two qualified for the Presidency. Her reasons are a Lifetime of Experience; they both have crossed the threshold for Commander & Chief and about National Security. Her premise is that if you don’t vote for her, than you have to vote for John McCain. Hillary’s complete disdain for Obama is something I hoped I would never see in the Democratic Party. She has done considerable damage because of this. This has broken the Democrats into three groups, one is for Obama, one is for Hillary and lastly the ones who would vote for either one. Now we have some Democrats that are going to vote for McCain if she doesn’t win.
So, I’m not all that surprised that she is going on Bill’s show.
April 29th, 2008 at 10:59 pmwell, at least obama had the good sense to go on with wallace…
the hillo & billo show…
April 29th, 2008 at 11:00 pmhey, it’s probably a good fit… she’s gotten on well with the bosses…
Memo to O’Racist, all your questions are stupid.
April 29th, 2008 at 11:03 pmHiya, Rebel!
I wonder if O’Reily will get her to say that McCain is better suited to be president on his show so they can loop it ad nauseum 24/7 as a Fox scoop.

That wouldn’t surprise me one bit… He knows Hill doesn’t have any problem going there.. That would make his day..
April 29th, 2008 at 11:12 pmIt takes one dim bulb to brag about watching O’Reilly. I don’t think many posters here besides you dumb trolls will watch O’Reilly no matter who is on it. I hardly think this post will kick up the ratings nimrod.

she’s going to prove that O’Reilly is a fascist, and an idiot. it should take 15 seconds, but you won’t get it until you’re in the camps.
April 29th, 2008 at 11:53 pmJust a start. I’m sure Bill will do better than what I came up with on the fly here.
what youc ame up with are questions that no republican would dare to answer, and a few completely irrelevant, personal. prying questions that have no place in the debate. how brilliant. *You’re right, even the idiot O’Reilly will probably have more sense than you.
April 29th, 2008 at 11:55 pmLooks like Wrights recent outbursts have been egged on by Hilary, what a shock…

I think that Hillary must be awfully desperate to go on O’Reilly. It’s certainly a no win situation for her. There are only two ways it can go. Either O’Reilly goes after her, cuts her mike and speaks over her (not likely) or O’Reilly and Hillary go after Obama (more likely). Either way, Hillary is going to end up looking like an idiot or a pandering idiot.
I wasn’t happy about Obama going on Fox, but I do understand why he did it. Hillary on the other hand has embraced Fox to the extent that her talking heads (I forget which one) did a promo commercial for Fox, calling it the “only fair and balanced station”.
April 30th, 2008 at 9:53 amMost of his questions undoubtedly involve either a falafel or a loofah.
April 30th, 2008 at 10:25 amUnfortunately, you seem to be telling me that Rove is giving the Faux newscasters their questions to ask of demo candidates.
Even more unfortunately, this doesn’t come as a surprise.
