At a lunch hosted today by the Christian Science Monitor, former uber-lobbyist Charlie Black, who is a senior adviser to Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), said that McCain’s staff talks to the President Bush’s staff “everyday.” Black also said that before McCain offered harsh words last week about Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina, the campaign gave the White House a “head’s up.”
But, I thought McSame was trying to DISTNACE himself from the legacy of Chimpy.
I guess it was another “Straight talking” lie.
May 2nd, 2008 at 7:51 pmDISTNACE s/b DISTANCE – sorry
May 2nd, 2008 at 7:52 pmAs if we needed any more proof that those 2 are in bed together.
May 2nd, 2008 at 7:53 pmNot to mention that Rove is actually working for the McCain campaign.
May 2nd, 2008 at 7:55 pmJust another day, 5 thread’s dedicated to the insane mccane..
May 2nd, 2008 at 8:00 pmMcBush is in Dubya’s pocket on Karl Rove’s chain.
May 2nd, 2008 at 8:04 pmbefore McCain offered harsh words last week about Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina, the campaign gave the White House a “head’s up.”
– - Whadda maverick!!
May 2nd, 2008 at 8:26 pmEveryday, it’s gettin’ closer, goin’ faster than a rollercoaster, Everyday, it’s a gettin’ faster, Everyone says go ahead and ask Bush and McCain if they’re in love or “just good friends” …
With an apology to Buddy Holly, who in his most depressed thoughts, could never have imagined the Bush fascist corporate nightmare that we have been living through in the first years of the 21st century…
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:01 pmMcCain’s staff and Bush’s staff talk ‘everyday.’
– - And they all wear hipboots.

Yeah, and after trashing him in the 2000 campaign. Politics makes for strange bedfellows, eh?
I recall that after Rudy dropped out of the race he endorsed McCain as the most qualified candidate to lead the country. Guess that makes Rudy less qualified. Lucky us.
And our local U.S. Rep., David Davis, at a campaign appearance with Huckabee told him that he’d officially endorse him only if he became the nominee.
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:21 pmTheir staff talks daily and then when everyone’s watching, McAncient and his daddy embrace.
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:27 pmHe’s a real chip off the ‘ol block . . head.
Well, that explains all the lying, deceiving, and manipulating of facts by John McCain. He’s been talking with George!
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:28 pmwhatta maverick!
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:28 pmGrover is a criminal. He’s never mentioned in the MSM. McSame is thinking he has fooled everybody. Not me, not all of you. But way too many uninformed voters.
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:38 pmNot to worry, by tomorrow the “flip-flop express” will tell us these two camps never communicate.
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:39 pm“before McCain offered harsh words last week about Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina, the campaign gave the White House a “head’s up.”
As if Bush’s people didn’t know they screwed up the response to Hurricane Katrina.

whatta maverick!
– - Hey, what’s with the echo in here?
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:43 pmdoes this mean he ran the “we won’t have to send soldiers to the middle east to die if we figure out an energy independence policy” by the white house beforehand?
May 2nd, 2008 at 9:46 pmThis is all very interesting, that Republicans would speak to each other often. But what about Boris Johnson?
Bloody good news! Praise the Lord! Thank God! There is hope for Londonistan. What will Red Ken do next?
:)

someone who will work full-time
to destroy your country

They talk with each other….any toe tapping? What do they have to talk about really…except taking care of the Corporate Elite they work for.
May 3rd, 2008 at 12:19 amCan you just imagine the brilliant conversations between W and McSenile? There’s got to be comedy mixed in with the tradgedy.
May 3rd, 2008 at 12:22 amW and Grampa are like the Guinness guys on TV with their goofy ideas….BRILLIANT! The world would be better off if they both just retired to the Pub.
May 3rd, 2008 at 12:26 amA McCain presidency would be different from Bush.
May 3rd, 2008 at 12:27 amNOT!
I’m finally seeing the difference between the Chimperror and McPander Bear. The Chimp will stick to the same, often nonsensical, point regardless of real world events. McPander Bear, on the other hand, can barely make it through a complete sentence without contradicting himself.
Save us Jebus!
May 3rd, 2008 at 12:32 amSo that means the WAR CRIMINAL Rove still talks to Bush’s staff everyday.
Where is the War Criminal Rice??? since the news about the secret meeting on the US’s TORTURE program in the WH came out she disapperared… Where is she? She has to unswer a lot of questions reagarding her misleading statements to Congress and the American people!!!! Ricemustgo.com !!!
May 3rd, 2008 at 2:57 amMcCain is flying on autopilot. BushCo autopilot. Might make an effective DNC ad.
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:04 amJAYZ! What kind of a source is THAT? “Everyday” for “every day,” “head’s up” for “heads up.” Abusing apostrophes and the now-common misuse of “everyday” for “every day” has turned into an everyday thing.
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:48 amCivilization in decline…
The reason the McCain staff is giving the Bush staff the “heads-up” is because everyone is beating up on George. Laura finds it demoralizing. She’s having a tough time with the truth. My suggestion, they just medicate her heavily.
May 3rd, 2008 at 8:16 amMcCain’s staff and Bush’s staff talk ‘everyday.’
We need to get to the bottom of this. There is no place in our government for taxpayer-funded phone sex.
May 3rd, 2008 at 8:50 amSo John McCain is a maverick.
Y’all know what we call maverick’s here in New Orleans?
…Losers.
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:07 pmThe extra apostrophe is for OleHippieChick.
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:09 pmMy prediction:
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:56 pmIf McCain is way behind in October, expect Bush to pull some stunt, like bombing Iran, to help Johnnie.
So a vote for McCain in November is a vote for a 3rd Bush term. That is what this means to me. McCain sure as hell isn’t distancing himself from Bush, that’s for sure.
May 3rd, 2008 at 8:48 pmUnrecalcitrant Mcbu$hCain lickers everywhere continue pushing their arrogant delusions. Sick. There can never be an end to it or their world crashes in. Sick.
THhhbbbbppppttbtbt, brat!
May 4th, 2008 at 9:08 amMcCain’s staff and Bush’s staff talk ‘everyday.’
I guess those with little to no ideas want to try and appear that they’re also into ‘brainstorming’ ; even though it resembles more of a drizzle than a storm………..
May 4th, 2008 at 11:04 amThey aren’t the SAME staff?
