She states that "Senator Inhofe is undermining America's heroes..." American soldiers in Iraq, by belonging to a military that is oppressing and suppressing the Iraqi people, are not doing anything heroic. A better description of those soldiers who were and are in Iraq would not be heroes but rather victims of a governmental policy that placed them there unjustifiably. They were, as I was, fighting, not for their country, but rather for the lies that they were given by a corrupt government. Since no Iraqis have been storming the shores of the United States [just like no Vietnamese were attempting to land on the beaches of Los Angeles or New Jersey] I see no reason why the appellation hero should be applied to what U.S. forces are doing to the Iraqi people. Bring them home-alive and in one piece-now.
