“Lost” emails. Executive privilege. Can’t remember. Don’t know.

Imagine if George W. Bush had a say in our government until the day he died. Well he does. One of his famous executive orders has given him the right to control what we know about his administration not just until he dies but forever!

Read Orders and Acts and Lies. Oh my!

When are these cowards who are supposed to represent us, you know, We The People going to do something for this country?

misshusseinmolly Says:
Bilbo, have you voted yet? I understand that Oregon votes by mail, but I’m not sure when the “voting period” is. Do we get results on Oregon’s “Election Day”, or does it take longer than that to count the ballots?

Yep, I voted. We can start voting from the day we get our ballots. But, they don't count the ballots until the election day when they run them thorough the optical scanner machines. I'm not exactly sure when, during the day, this is done and when they announce.

Good,he needs to begin looking past Hillary as she's falling further behind in the rearview mirror.

Still, be prepared for her kicking and screaming till she's dragged out the door.

This morning, her mouthpieces were all, “She came from behind to win Indiana!” What?
______________________________________________

Her mouthpieces have been spinning so much that they now have the world's biggest ball of yarn. Clinton didn't "come from behind" in Indiana. She was leading in Indiana for the past two months -- often by double digits. That lead got eroded as Election Day drew closer, with an occasional poll putting Obama slightly ahead (however, an average of polls still showed Clinton in the lead).

Her double digit lead faded to a razor thin victory. If anything, it was Obama who came from behind.

However, Clinton's talking heads are under orders to paint her as the odds-on favorite, no matter how absurd the story has to be.

missmolly and DNFP - last night on MSNBC, at about 10:30 or so, they announced that Hillary was going to be speaking soon. Did you see that? Did you see the looks on everyone's faces? They were all astonished, wondering what in the world she could be about to say. Because it wasn't going to be victory speech!

What did we miss?

Well, the Democratic primary for one? I too am curious as to what will happen to this site once Obama is officially the Dem candidate. Very odd the way you ignore it TP.

It's been all but over for weeks now, this Clinton run. And by refusing to step aside, she's basically giving her finger to the Democratic Party.

I also wonder what kind of campaign coverage we can expect from TP once the race is whittled down to one candidate on either side.

We all know that TP is a shill for Hillary, but I'm optimistic enough to believe that once she's out of the race, TP will cast Obama in a favorable light over McCain -- if for no other reason than to provide balance to the McCain fawning we're going to get from the MSM.

oh, and i just remembered something ...

last night, tweety kept bringing up lessons that barack learned from hillary...

W T F ???

i think i saw a very slight smirk on brokaw when tweety asked him about it, but
other than that, though no one seemed to agree with him, no one called out that silly notion either...

i just thought it was ridiculous... really grasping at straws there...

The Bush administration has not found disaster recovery files for White House e-mails from a three-month time period in 2003…raising the possibility that messages sent before and after the invasion of Iraq may never be recovered.

Times change but people remain the same. This of course, is no different than the erased Nixon tapes. The technology is different but the liars and crooks are the same (in some cases, literally).

misshusseinmolly Says:

Bilbo, have you voted yet? I understand that Oregon votes by mail, but I’m not sure when the “voting period” is. Do we get results on Oregon’s “Election Day”, or does it take longer than that to count the ballots?

They've been very good about getting everything counted and results published on Election Day, although this year, who knows? The Democrats have registered 115,000 new voters and turnout for this primary is likely to be huge, especially because vote by mail removes all those problems with getting to the polling place, standing in line, etc.

There is also a vigorous primary campaign between two liberal Democrats to determine who takes on Gordon Smith in November. And it's a measure of Smith's nervousness about that result (especially with the huge increase in Democrats and shrinkage of Republicans) that he's already taking out commercials attacking both candidates and calling himself the candidate of "change." Seriously.

And here in Portland, an interesting mayoral race, city council races and county commissioners. All in all, should be fun and get a lot of voters.
