Too bad for Chalabi he didn’t take note that the US has no problem with using less than honorable persons and tossing them aside after they served their purpose. Noriega in an US person somewhere, Osahma hiding in Afghanistan or Pakistan, Saddam Hung. Chalibi is lucky in that he was merely “cut off” before he had a chance to get in so deep that death or prison was the only option. Tyrants of the world, try to out-tyrant the US at your own risk.

First he is that Admin’s darling of war supporting “intelligence” and hopeful leader of a Sadam-less Iraq.
Then he is arrested(?) and his Iraq office is raided and the computers are seized because of leaking sensitive info to Iran. Wonder how he got that sensitive info?
THEN he is the Admin’s darling again to help push the surge. I guess they couldn’t find anyone else.
And finally he is cutoff again for contact with Iran.
Makes my head want to explode.

NBC News reports “that as of this week American military and civilian officials have cut off all contact with controversial Iraqi politician Ahmad Chalabi”

And only four years after he was thoroughly discredited. Who says neocons can’t learn from their mistakes.
