Bush to join McCain at high-dollar campaign event.»

Despite Sen. John McCain’s (R-AZ) occasional attempts to distance himself from President Bush, ABC News concludes that there really isn’t “too much distance.” In fact, a fundraiser has been set for May 27 in Phoenix, marking the first time Bush will join McCain for a campaign event since he secured the nomination.

  2. Jeannie See Says:

My father lives in Phoenix. He used to have a great amount of respect for McCain and was a die-hard Republican.

He voted a straight Democratic ticket in 2006. First time in his life he ever voted for a Democrat.

    That says a lot.

Well. if I were a rep. instead of the #2 guy I would of asked darth cheney. alway’s go with the pupett master not the pupett….cheney has more money and power than his mouth piece does and he can speak with out the drug’s and booze….At the very least if no one show’s up he can put some change in the coffer’s,,,,Blessings

  4. Crusty Old Bastard Says:

Lucky bastard! McSame that is. Uncle Dick (and not because his name is Richard) could have shown up. I wonder if they will let Jack A off out of jail for the night. Larry Craig and guest my also put in a came “o” appearance.

  5. Marie Says:

That will help solidify the 28% of the lamebrains and delusional die-hards who will vote for MCain.

  6. RUCerious Says:

The coming Obama/Democratic landslide November election will be of biblical proportions. It will make the post-watergate, post-vietnam war backlack against the GOP in the 1970s look like a small ripple… Can you dig a 435-0 Democratic majority in the House of Representatives? And a 68-32 Democratic majority in the Senate (the only GOP Senators will be the 32 GOP holdover seats not up for reelection in 2008). Smooth sailing ahead for the Dems… Universal not-for-profit health care insurance for all in 2009. Ending Bush imperial colonial occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq in 2009. Lots of thanks to Bush-McCain joined together in a Vulcan mind-meld…

What is this “distancing himself” crap McCain keeps putting out?! Seriously, him and Bush are dancing at arms length like two 13 year olds with the teachers watching at the Spring Fling, but they both have those awkward smiles that trouble is about. When no one is watching, they’ll be all on each other swapping ideas on how to additionally screw the 70% of America they don’t give a tinker’s damn about. It’s pretty obvious Bush has convinced McCain that our military is just a big game of “Risk” and that he also needs to show him the secret map of where all the bloody hatchets are so no one in his administrations can be put into a prison cell after W’s gone.

While the old ‘Turdblossum’ is hiding from the law the new ‘McTurdblossum’ is a growin’ in the heartland. What a hand (team) to draw to…Turdblossum/Bush/McTurdblossum.

Ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony
Side by side on my piano keyboard, oh lord, why dont we?

We all know that people are the same where ever we go
There is good and bad in evryone,
We learn to live, we learn to give
Each other what we need to survive together alive.

I wonder if they will allow camera’s at this event?
If so, I hope there are plenty of pictures.

No Oval not biblical, but I’d settle for a win like FDR got in ‘32. Hoo boy what a great day. We might get someone to start legal proceedings against the administration and all the neocons. Just like Nurnberg in ‘46

With all the publicity coming out of Texas about the polygamists, the picture of the two kings holding hands in Saudi Arabia, the appeal of the Gay marriage ban in California, it behooves McSame and King George the Dumb to kool the kissy face for awhile. They are sure to piss off somebody!

  15. JBaddo Says:

maybe they can share each other’s repulsive wives at this event

  16. dixie blood Says:

This event should provide lots of footage for Obama in the general election. McLame will be seen tongue kissing the asses of the GW Botch RePugniScum 25%ers and Kool-Aid guzzlers.

And…when he flip flops later he will be trying to jam his tongue down the throat of the rest of us!!! Yuk!! And he should be rejected and called a pervert of Democracy!!!

Help stop his planned continued raping of America and vote against McFlipFlopLamo!!

    `Tweedledum and Tweedledee
    Agreed to have a battle;
    For Tweedledum said Tweedledee
Had spoiled his nice new rattle.
Just then flew down a monstrous crow,
    As black as a tar-barrel;
Which frightened both the heroes so,
    They quite forgot their quarrel.’

  18. tarazan Says:

That’s very good news for Obama. Obama must be smiling seeing them together.
It will make it even better for Obama if they invite Joe Lieberman also to join them…

Even better Fox News does the coverage with Karl Rove… There is some unbiased reporting..not..

  20. Jess Wonderin Says:

Let’s hope the Press covers this event and we get the joy of hearing Decider Guy give America the kind of speech needed to inspire us . . .

Those of us NOT lucky enough to go should send a symbolic $3 (for “PHONY AS A THREE DOLLAR BILL”) to the Democratic Party on that date!!!!

  21. kasinca Says:

McSame is nothing without Dubya the Dunce. McSame/Bush/Cheney the losing ticket for the failed GOP. Miserable failures with no ideas that work except for the cronies.

  22. kdcostak Says:

hi guys you know we hear professors and pundits talk about the likelihood that obama would lose to mccain. for some reason though i don’t see how mccain could win. the president is unpopular. conservatives still dislike him and independents would probably distance themselves from mccain after democrats tie him to bush.

  23. republicanSScareme Says:

Phoenix, known as the home of crackpot politicians, is the right place to go.
