Democrats have been consistent in their support of the troops. While some former democrats have been supportive of the war’s goals, we have been by and large against invading a sovereign nation in preemtive fashion, and all that entails. Judging from history, they have so far been proven right.

This thread isn’t debating the merits of the war in Iraq or the merits of troop withdrawl. It’s set up as a popularity contest between Rice and Pelosi. Popularity contest?
