Hannity to Rove: ‘Are you now an unpaid adviser for the Hillary campaign?’»

Yesterday, Karl Rove appeared on Fox News’s Hannity and Colmes to discuss the presidential election. During the segment, Sean Hannity mentioned that Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) recently pointed to electoral maps made by Rove to show that she was the “stronger candidate.” Hannity joked, “Are you now an unpaid adviser for the Hillary campaign?” Watch it:

No, Sean, Rove is not an unpaid adviser to Clinton’s campaign. He is, however, an unpaid, informal adviser to Sen. John McCain’s campaign (R-AZ), a fact that you and your network still refuse to disclose.

Transcript:

HANNITY: Hey, Karl, by the way, I don’t know if anyone’s brought this to your attention yet. But you know you have a new best friend out there, and her name is Hillary Clinton.

And Hillary was quoted as saying the following, Just today I found some curious support for the position that she’s the stronger candidate against Senator McCain. Well, one of the TV networks released an analysis done by, of all people, Karl Rove saying I was the stronger candidate. Someone got ahold of the analysis, and there it is.’

Are you now an unpaid adviser for the Hillary campaign?

ROVE: No, no, no. Well, her husband said something, too, and it — you know, it’s — it was really — they’ve been using my name, but generally in vain. So I mean it’s — it was a little unusual to hear Senator Clinton to use my name –

HANNITY: Yes.

ROVE: — without a derogatory adjective in front of it.

I am getting increasingly frustrated with the tactics that the Democratic also-ran is employing in her fight to remain relevant.

Little Rover-boy is enjoying the remaining 15 seconds of his “15 minutes of fame”. Soon, he will be subpoenaed, indicted, sentenced and corn-holed for all the aiding and abetting and lying and covering up he has done for GDumbya.

What goes around, comes around. I do hope that water-boarding and electrified genitals are in this weasel’s future.

  4. RUCerious Says:

Gotta wonder if Hannity will still have Rove on his show from Leavenworth?

  5. katy Says:

No, Sean, Rove is not an unpaid adviser to Clinton’s campaign.

    are you sure, amanda?

it may not be OFFICIAL, but she sure is using his tactics and
    UNofficial advice…

why do you think so many dems and progressives are so unhappy
    with her campaign???

  6. Wilco Says:

So I know this is completely off topic, but I have to share this.
My company blocks most websites, but lately, the restrictions have eased and the other day I linked to the article on FreeRepublic about Kennedy.
I checked out the site today and they’re suggesting HIV/AIDS *does not exist*!!!
    Holy mother of crap.

  7. katy Says:

wilco - i’d sure have a talk with the bosses as to why a fright-wing website full of lies and garbage is allowed…
    is TP prohibited?

  8. Wilco Says:

TP is one of the few sites that never has been blocked.

  9. katy Says:

as it should be… good call, bosses…

First, supression of information. Next, reductions of freedoms allowed. Finally, dissenters are systematically eliminated.
Hmmmm. where have I seen this…ah yes, the rise of the third reich.
Gee, anywhere else that anyone has seen this happening?

“…Karl Rove appeared on Fox News’s Hannity and Colmes…”

TP, can you please stop referring to a Fox show as “News” and call it what it really is?

    Not the ticket of dreams
    By Dan Payne
    May 22, 2008

MANY DEMOCRATS, including former New York governor Mario Cuomo on this page, have called for a Barack Obama-Hillary Clinton ticket. Despite its superficial appeal, this so-called dream ticket could be a nightmare for both.

  13. trollsbwild Says:

Only Hannity and Rove together? Where was Jeff Gannon? Under the desk, tonguing some genetalia?

  14. Shayne Says:

When TP finally decides to address the Democratic primary in any way it’s to point out that Rove isn’t working for the Clinton campaign. Unbelievable.

  15. Zimzone Says:

Fargo, ND is hosting regional law enforcement training up here this week for…guess what?

    RIOT CONTROL

We’ve got counties in this area with less than 1.5 people/sq. mi.

    Think about that.

Even if someone started a riot, no one would live close enough to join in.

Who’s expecting a riot? Why? When? Where?

Who’s expecting a riot? Why? When? Where?

They’re training the backup forces for the republican convention in St. Paul . . . special orders from Darth Cheney.

  17. DwH Says:

    Who bloody CARES?

Why do these asshats have any impact on the world of politics anymore. They are irrelevant and the sonner we stop giving them this kind of attention the faster they’ll disappear.

Rove has been proven to be anything BUT a “political genius” and I certainly wouldn’t want to be credited with being Bush’s so-called “brain.”

He is a deceptive, divisive man who would assassinate his mother to shore up his ego.

  18. Alectimmerman Says:

I agree with DwH, but I would take it one step further, and ask that you quit picking on poor Karl, because he is the best thing that has ever happpened to the Democratic Party. It is mindboggling why he is still referred to as a genius. He barely/didn’t beat a pre-oscar cardboard cutout in 2000. He barely beat another stiff in 2004 after claiming Shrub would get at least 300 electorals. 2006 he knew the real math. In Republican bizzaro world, the more you screw up the better off you are. Anyway, when we own all three branches of government, we should thank Karl for being such a clueless dumbass, but enough of an unethical weasel to fool the Repubs.

I would call him Bush’s Ass, but I think Bush’s brain is actually a bigger insult.

    Take care,
    Alec

I am getting increasingly frustrated with the tactics that the Democratic also-ran is employing in her fight to remain relevant.

Yesterday, Rachael Maddow again spoke of the dangers in keeping this contest going - the longer this goes on the more likely McCain will win.

I feel, rules are rules and we can not be changing rules at the end of the game because it may appear one will lose.

The 2025 number to win was not a question until it looked as if Hilary may lose. Now Hillary, now behind, wants to change this to 2200 something… she NOW, not back then, wants to add FL and Mich, states Obama was not on the ballot or did not campaign in as it was CLEAR the states would not count?????

We have watched her throw the kitchen sink with her lies, smears, playing the race card, behaviors we do not need to see. America is sick of the con job Bush has laid upon us in the past 7 years and Hillary only puts salt in the wound.

I was once a Hillary supporter, but now, as it is with Bush, I like so many can not stand to see/hear her.

  20. MapleStreet Says:

    I don’t get it !

Unquestionably, Rove is a sympathizer to the Republicans.

And yet, people still listen to him even though there is a high chance that his statements are meant to stack the deck for the repub candidate.

  21. leftcoast Says:

“Hannity to Rove: ‘Are you now an unpaid adviser for the Hillary campaign?’”
“No, but I will soon be on the Federal Corrections Inmate payroll after my conviction for my involvement in the firing of nine U.S. attorneys last year and the prosecution of former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, and for my politicalization of the Justice Department.”
