Just think what a stroke of genius McCain has now accomplished: He first deliberately distances himself from sensible Moderates by associating with the most far-right lunatics. THEN after embracing these key religious figures, McCain alienates the far-right by distancing himself away from them again.

A great irony of human civilization is the idiocy of people who follow the Abrahamic Religions.
All 3 religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism are all from the same Abrahamic roots. All started at the same place, with a hill/sky god that required blood sacrifice of animals and people,even children. It is a bloody and hateful history. To this day, they still shed blood and spread hate even of their own Abrahamic brethren as well as anyone else different from them.
These 3 branches have shed so much innocent blood over the centuries I have no idea how anyone could equate their “God” with love with even the most twisted logic.

Perhaps the so-called Christians should go back to the source of Jesus teachings…. The Gnostic/Essene Scriptures, and toss out that insane bloodbath, The Bible.

I’d add black, gay and human to that mix. I’ve come to the cnclusion that most Christians have never actually read the bibles. That they just pick and choose so that they can belong to the club. Most people I know who’ve actually read the “good” book are Atheists or Agnostics.
