That’s because a “precipitous withdrawel from Iraq” is a physical impossibility made up by conservative bloviators as a straw man to scare the electorate into prolonging the war indefinitely. Unless the military suddenly acquires the technology to instantly teleport all our troops, contractors, vehicles, and equipment out of Iraq, it is physically impossible to “precipitously withdraw.”

Obama has been against Chimpy’s Illegal and Idiotic Iraq Adventure since its inception ; McLobbyistsBestFriend has been all for it , and behind every completely inaccurate “plan”.

Also , most Americans believe thatwe need to engage in discussions with those who our perceived “enemies” ; McBush’s reliance on more “cowboy diplomacy” is something the majority of American people are sick of.

While we may not know Obama’s position on everything with absolute clarity, we do know McCain’s. It is the same as Bush’s. There is no difference, and there never was. McCain has not been pandering to the base, he has followed Bush lockstep the entire time he has been in office. So, while I may not know Obama’s exact positions on the economy, immigration, etc., I don’t want four more years of Bush. That is what McCain offers – four more years of Bush and an attack on Iran.

How many people do you really think you fool by calling yourself a Democrat and then posting crap like :”McCain’s clarity (on this issue) will serve him well with centrists and independents.”?
