Imagine that this was written 2000 years ago, and proven by modern day scientist to be 100% accurate. Maybe Patterson needs someone to read him Gods word since we claim to be a nation under God. I suppose if God intended for women to impregnate women and men to give birth he’d of created us with the functions to do so.

And don’t forget our neighbor to the north. Gay marriage is legal in all of Canada.

Of course, Canadians aren’t U.S. citizens, but if gay marriage causes their country to implode, they’re close enough that we will surely see it.

I am just wondering how long it will take, and how many gay marriages it will take before most of our citizens no longer feel threatened by it.

The latest Gallup poll on the subject (conducted earlier this month) shows 40% of Americans support recognizing as valid marriages of same-sex couples, 56% of Americans do not, and 4% of Americans are unsure. We’ve got a ways to go, but with two of our biggest states on board, we’re on our way to being a society that can honestly say everyone is treated equally.

Great move by the governor of New York!!! It’s about time. The US has sadly fallen behind in allowing it’s gay citizens the basic rights other western nations have adopted. Eventually the other states will follow. It’s a slow struggle.
