Put Bush/Cheney on impeachment trial and then they can not stop anyone from testifying either for or against. If they aren’t being impeached it is questionable.

It’s not too late to correct the wrongs that have been done by this administration that may be repeated by Hillary or Obama.

If Bush is thinking of blocking Scotty from testifying to Congress. What will be the reason.

Bush didn’t block Scotty’s book from being published. Congress has the right to speak to him of his printed words in his book.

This has nothing to do with this blog, but I thought I’d mention it;

I was speaking with my 69 YEAR OLD uncle the other day, who was in the Navy and worked for the U.S. government for many years and considers himself a patriot, and he said with what the bush administration has done to the USA, done to Iraq, done to the WORLD, he was, “ashamed to be an American.”

Say what you will, bush, rove, cheney etal, that pretty much says it all about how many Americans feel, and nothing the bush criminals do or say will change that.

That pretty much says it all, if you ask me.

What? The ‘Jose Padillo’ solution?

Remember — Padillo was transfered and charged in Federal Court just so’s that bit of “Law”, Presidential desaparecidos, would not be clarified by the courts. So, presumably, as Perino says, the White House still believes the law will allow for that.

Congress doesn’t need to “grow balls” to cause serious repercussions for the Reichwingers. They have to deal with the reality of one of their own breaking ranks and telling the truth.

Even if no one else comes forward the administration will be hampered by the fears that some one else will “rat them out”. The fear and distrust Scotty has sown in the Bush administration will seriously disrupt their performance since everyone will be afraid to talk to anybody or piss them off.

Even though one would think that the laws of mathematics would suggest that there would be a few Bushites with a bit of integrity, I never would have picked Scotty as one of them. Which makes for really interesting speculation about who would have to “turn” to bring the big fish down. And that’s a question which should haunt the dreams of the guilty for the foreseeable future.

As McClellan is helping the terrorists, could he be declared a terrorist and whisked away on extraordinary rendition ?

It’s not clear on what grounds the White House would be able to block McClellan. He has already blanketed the media talking about his time in the administration. Additionally, in a Washington Post chat today, McClellan confirmed that White House officials reviewed his “final manuscript for classification and privilege issues,” and they found “no issues relating to classified information.” They did, however, “bring up some issues” relating to executive privilege.

Grounds? King George doesn’t need any grounds, he does whatever he wants whenever he wants.

This ‘hypothetical’ scenerio illustrates the fine line (growing ever finer) between Executive Privilage and Obstruction of Justice. After all the ‘no-go-ciations’ for testifying in the investigations (pick one), once Exec.Priv. was (sort-of) gotten beyond, the result was a guilty charge of Lying and OofJ. Of course these lying SofS will fight revelation of the truth the whole way. Anyone think they’ll stop now after nearly eight years?
