Sure, and in the context of Republican ideaology, he was very good at his job, which was to rape the environment and eliminate public works.

USpace, I couldn’t help but notice the criticisms listed in Wikipedia for the Great Global Warming Swindle seem much more severe (and documented), than those in the entry for An Inconvenient Truth.

Besides, all things being equal (and they are not), I would rather error on the side of developing VERY USEFUL renewable energy sources and find out Global Warming was wrong than continue with my head in the sand and destroy the planet — the cost/gain argument seems a little more dire if I choose to believe the half truths presented in “the Swindle”.

Let’s not forget that the security and diplomatic gains of European and Western societies would be much better served with alternative energy.

One more thing – Getting off OIL, Coal, and other fossil fuels is a good idea EVEN IF GLOBAL WARMING WASN’T true. Air Pollution, Water Pollution, scarcity, cost — all reasons in addition to the small problem that we may be destroying the planet.

There is no evidence, science or proof in the “The Great Global Warming Swindle” so dont bother looking for it

I watched your video and, at best, I have to say it was very unconvincing. I didn’t see any scientific evidence.

I hear a lot “It is just false…” but where were the studies. Where was the evidence that the CO2 levels are not higher than normal. Where are the peer reviewed studies – not the “…number of people that I know of…” Interesting that something that says “this is pure propaganda..” does not provide evidence, only testimony from so called experts.

I am not saying it couldn’t be true, but it sure doesn’t pass the smell test. Sounds much more like propaganda than “An Inconvenient Truth”.

WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE, THE SCIENCE, THE PROOF. I am willing to listen.

Carbon-dioxide doesn’t cause warming, sun activity does, warming causes CO2 levels to rise.
