Once Rove's Lawyer found out a witness gave information that clearly contradicted Rove, he quickly asked for Rove to go back to the Grand Jury. The Grand Jury found probable cause for Rove to go to trial. Fitzgerald announced that Rove had 48 hours to get his affairs in order. Then the White House/AG stepped in to make sure Karl's case didn't go to trial. Pat was the Special Prosecutor but to save Karl Rove, Attorney General Gonzales and White House stopped the case. Most of us could tell from Pat's behavior there was interference in the case and even Judge Walton knew it.
