Limbaugh: Bush donors say he’ll strike Iran before term ends.

Limbaugh: Bush donors say he’ll strike Iran before term ends.»

Today on his radio show, Rush Limbaugh boasted about his insider access and told a caller that important Bush donors had assured him the President would attack Iran soon:

CALLER: Well, you mentioned before that he [Bush] had some plan, before leaving office that he was going to do something.

RUSH: I had talked to a bunch of his donors and said to me that they can’t see Bush leaving office with Iran still a problem, a nuclear problem. And he’s not out of office yet, either.

Limbaugh loves to proclaim his own political influence. In January, he declared he had been Bill Clinton’s “real co-president.”

Blow it out your fat, oxycontin-popping, reich wing a**, limbaugh.

  2. Xisithrus Says:

The decider doesnt decide? Well, I dont think George will like people saying hes not the decider.

  3. Above the Clouds Says:

Eight years of a failed Bush Administration have left the ever-increasing and strong stench of insignificance on Limbaugh and his racist and sexist message of hate. You’d be angry, confused, and frustrated too if you had to dedicate hours of air time every day propping up Mr. 28%

  4. tarazan Says:

So what kind of country we live in if Limbaugh,a big mouth radio talk, knows about the coming war before US Congress.

  5. LibertyLover Says:

B-B- But, I thought that he hasn’t made any decisions yet….

Oh wait… that was Iraq. My Bad, he’s already decided on Iran.

  6. Above the Clouds Says:

I think the “President Osama” theright speaks of was the one who killed Americans on US soil–the same one Bush and the neocons refuse to take out. Cleaning up Bush’s neocon failure in Iraq will, indeed, be a challenge for President Obama.

  7. spencers mom Says:

So it is “Bush’s donors” who are calling the shots? Still? Haven’t they made enough profits off the existing war? Oh sorry, just answered my own question…

BTW, please flag TheRight - I find it very offensive that he continually “misspells” Senator Barack Obama’s name in a lame attempt to portray this great man as a “terrorist”

    PEACE

  8. Xisithrus Says:

Umm TheRight, has it occured to you they were wrong about Iraqi nukes and thus they are probably wrong about Iran as well? Why would you want another quagmire? Why would you want the price of fuel to shoot up? Attacking a country to prove one is tough on defense is poppycock. We all know we have enough nukes to obliterate any country.

BTW, when did spiritual conservatives become materialist Marxists of eternal war? Since TheRight embraced the Neo-cons?

i can’t find a better description of limbaugh than the offered by the late bill hicks - too filthy to publish here but there is an audio clip on youtube - sums this oxygen thief up perfectly.

Limbaugh is Bush’s Tokyo Rose without the lipstick.

Donors or dealers? Why anybody listens to this addle-brained drug addict is beyond me.

Its late, I’m tired. Who is “his”?

  14. hanshiro Says:

TheReich Says: Regressives always make fun of Bush…it’s just payback time.

Making fun of bush is like booing at the special olympics. There’s so much material that any bush jokes write themselves. Remember Preznitwit Poltroon on Social Security?

Because the — all which is on the table begins to address the big cost drivers. For example, how benefits are calculate, for example, is on the table; whether or not benefits rise based upon wage increases or price increases. There’s a series of parts of the formula that are being considered. And when you couple that, those different cost drivers, affecting those — changing those with personal accounts, the idea is to get what has been promised more likely to be — or closer delivered to what has been promised.

Does that make any sense to you? It’s kind of muddled. Look, there’s a series of things that cause the — like, for example, benefits are calculated based upon the increase of wages, as opposed to the increase of prices. Some have suggested that we calculate — the benefits will rise based upon inflation, as opposed to wage increases. There is a reform that would help solve the red if that were put into effect. In other words, how fast benefits grow, how fast the promised benefits grow, if those — if that growth is affected, it will help on the red.

Okay, better? I’ll keep working on it.

“Payback time?” For what, republicans putting a walking punchline into office and getting all indignant when the public sees this benighted administration for the incompetent Cirque-du-Cesspool that it is?

bush and the idioti who voted for him ain’t seen “payback time” yet, bud…but it’s coming.

btw…the name “TheReich” was created by other bloggers when they spoke purposely, based on the tyrannical policies of an insane group of fascist republicans who hold the government hostage. They dubbed the “right,” the “Reich.”

    I was…er..”poking fun” too.

Limbaugh is Bush’s Tokyo Rose without the lipstick.

I think Rush is Bush and Cheney’s Tokyo Rose with the chapped lips.

  17. Zooey Says:

    Donors…?

What the f+ck is he talking about?

  18. barfly Says:

    Bush Donors?”

These bozos aren’t inside “the bubble,” so the notion that they feel the pulse of the Bush administration is laughable.

More like, they feel the flapping tumescence of the Lame Duck, looking for one last political quickie.

  19. dbadass Says:

    Zooey,
I am thinking the Bush Donors may be the teens that aren’t wearing the lame ass K-Mart pants but I could be wrong

  20. barfly Says:

RUSH: I had talked to a bunch of his donors and said to me that they can’t see Bush leaving office with Iran still a problem, a nuclear problem. And he’s not out of office yet, either.

Here’s a (probably not original) thought: if Bush attacks Iran, start a grass-roots movement to remove Pelosi as House speaker.

    Once again.

  22. chingebush Says:

Typical Bush. Never done anything right in his life, never left a positive mark. That Iraq thing that looked like putting a firecracker in a bum’s ear in the park turned out to beat his ass like a stepchild so what now? Time’s running out…..maybe bomb Iran?

That would leave a mark dipshit.

You wanna be remembered little guy? How’s about seppuku on the front lawn while you beg forgiveness for your crimes?

  23. alpuz3 Says:

    chingebush Says:
You wanna be remembered little guy? How’s about seppuku on the front lawn while you beg forgiveness for your crimes?

    He doesn’t have the guts.

Here’s an idea… for starters have ole Limbaugh suit up for the Redskins and play punt return. Come on, Rush. Grab your glory, tough guy.

  24. chingebush Says:

Maybe we should start a national lottery and bet on whether he has the guts to do it or not. Bush’s ego might just rise to the challenge to prove the 75% of us wrong.

    And that’s a bet I wouldn’t mind losing.

  25. hanshiro Says:

    21. barfly Says: Here’s a (probably not original) thought: if Bush attacks Iran, start a grass-roots movement to remove Pelosi as House speaker.

    And take telecom’s b*tch Reid with her…

  26. pete Says:

I still can’t help thinking, and hoping, that that the desperation of the Reichwing, especially since Scotty’s book was announced, is a telling event. For that matter, didn’t Lush Rimjob’s call for riots in Denver happen about the same time the WH received their advance copies of Scotty’s book?

Even without the campaign rhetoric, now that the nominees are presumably decided, the next weeks and months are going to be contentious as heck. And I’m sure the Lush will provide more than his fare share of the outrageous raving.

On the other hand, most indications are that the days of people taking the Reichwing seriously, except as dangerous aberrations that should be stifled, are numbered.

  27. Alecto Says:

I still can’t beleive some enterprising “reporter” never went down to The Dominincan Republic of Costa RIca, whereever Rush was returning from with all the Viagra. ANd interestingly, he was on a trip WITHOUT his wife, but yet had a stockpile of viagra. Hmmm, In a city/country (notsure) that has a pernicuious problem with child sex slaves. So, go down with a picture of fatgasbag and pass it around. I am sure some one will remember old limpdicklimbaugh.

  28. Dr. Hussein Matt Says:

Yeah, attacking Iran…..brilliant move. Attack a country without engaging in any sort of diplomacy. Hitler would be jealous of the GOPigs insanity.

  29. pete Says:

On a related note, this story is beginning to play out tonight. I’m betting that the new Air Force Chief of Staff is the candidate with the most aggressive stance on Iran. Though I sure can’t argue with sacking the men in charge of “accidents” with nuclear technology.

  30. dbadass Says:

come on pete, lighten up. It was just an “accident”. Really when ya think about it, it could of happened to any of us. Why now just the other day…

  31. Oval12345678 aka James K. Sayre Says:

Oh dear, has our Royal Decider Bush lost his secret decoder ring? Or has our Royal Decoder Bush lost his secret decider ring? It’s all a perfectly horrid muddle now: quagmires, treasons, spies, lies, Internets, Innertubes, Internet-tubes, Tell All books… And Old John McAncient is doddering around like an neolithic fossil… the end is near for this moron regime… and these final months won’t be pretty…

  32. had enough Says:

    OT
Anyone heat Mike Malloy tonight? There was conversation about what the steps would be if martial law was declared in our country.

The internet would be shut down, shows like Malloy’s would be off the air and our guns would be seized.
    Then the question was asked:

Why was the wireless internet bill in congress stopped today?

  33. pete Says:

You’re right db. Despite my optimistic nature I tend to worry. Besides which, it’s no big deal if the “mushroom cloud” is one of our bombs. Heck! We’re the good guys, right?

  34. wmhogg Says:

He will think it’s a funny prank.

  35. ucsbclassics53 Says:

Regressives are conservatives, theRIGHT. They are the ones who want to roll back worker protections, any type of progress made by liberals. Reactionaries like yourself are the true regressives, because you would turn back the clock in order to satisfy the greed of the robber baron types…

  36. ccokz Says:

I don’t think Bush will attack. He’s a lame duck. He can’t afford to attack. And I don’t think he likes to. Bush will sleep ’till the end of his term, I guess. He got no power no more.

tons of explosives seized in pakistan

the guys with the nuke transportation problem got fired

  37. WaltB Says:

So what doesn’t Rush get . . . his (and someone please quote me on this!) FAILED ULTRA-CONSERVATIVE POLICIES have close to ruined our country, so he wants to start another war to make it better? I’ll bet its more to deflect attention away from how ruinous 8 years of neo-conservative, ‘family values’ touting leadership has been.

  38. Doc Rock Says:

    Impeach now, avoid the rush!

  39. nineteen84 Says:

Well, if Dubya does attack Iran, on January 20th he better fly directly to a country with no extradition treaty.

Otherwise, I think the country will seek his head. The 28%ers won’t be able to save you, George.

  40. Cats r Flyfishn Says:

Disable that link to Limbaugh’s page. He doesn’t deserve any hits from us.
I sure hope that we don’t bomb Iran. If you think oil is expensive now, just wait. If you think our economy is going down the tubes now, just wait. Bomb Iran and Iran bombs our military in Iraq. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Please, someone, take the boy Bush away in a straight jacket.

  41. Dr. Hussein Matt Says:

What the hell would a “donor” know anyhow?

  42. spearNmagicHelmet Says:

let him, he’ll be impeached faster than you can say strateegeery.

  43. Nevar Says:

Even as we speak, George the Dumb continues to be set up as the scapegoat. Dana Perino’s recent attempt to portray George as being out of the loop on intelligence regarding Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction is only the latest.
We need to remember who is really running the show from down in his bunker. And that he is dancing on the strings of his puppetmasters.

George is a willing scapegoat, to be sure, he knows what he needs to know, and is a callous and uncaring sociopath.
But he’s also dumb enough to believe that the shadowy masters who pull the purse strings won’t let anything bad happen to him.
Sorry Dufous, they’ll leave you drying in the Texas sun as they trot off chuckling with glee to the bank in Dubai.

  44. trollsbwild Says:

The unofficial minister of propaganda has received his marching orders. Amazing how Bush chooses to float this to the American public.
If this happens, the next step will be to impose a national state of emergency. Get ready for NSPD51 and executive order 14348. Guess those pesky elections will just have to wait.

  45. 99Luf Balloons Says:

Just like Rove “knew things” before the 2006 mid-terms.

  46. ConcernedParent Says:

Wouldn’t this be considered treason, aiding the enemy this way, letting them know our plans? Releasing secret info to donors, are people still donating to bush? And if so have they been getting info all along? Sounds like rush is in over his head on this one.

  47. Exit Stage Left Says:

Somebody please enlighten me. Can’t Congress pass some kind of law or resolution outlawing an attack on Iran without Congressional approval?

  48. Sachem Says:

67 Senators needed to save one very used country. Apathetic citizens no extra charge.

Congress is required to approve such an attack, but der chimpy and the dick do not recognizes mere laws, foreign or domestic.

I reiterate that President-elect Obama should make it clear to the generals that following these orders is illegal and that they will be dishonorably discharged with loss of rank if they execute this insane plan.

  49. macd Says:

I blame the democrats for not impeaching bush and cheney. Those two clowns can do what they want cuz the dems will just roll over and maybe send a dozen scathing letters. Oh, that will show em. Clowns

  50. upside99 Says:

    rogers Says:
These stories are getting redicolous…either he’ll attack iran or not, better wait then speculate about ’till the day he leaves office.

So you are saying don’t do anything til it happens? Isn’t that a little late?

Tell us what YOU want Dubya/BushCo to do, please!

  51. Arn Gunnutes Says:

We should send TRAITOR Bush to IRAN with nothing but his COAT.

Drop him RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF TEHRAN.

Let’s see HOW QUICK he learns to “negotiate”.

    Or PERISH.

  52. jaramilr Says:

    “a nuclear problem”

Because bombing Iran will make them see the light and stop wanting to build nuclear weapons and wanting to attack us (assuming they actually are wanting those things now).

In my view we won’t have an international nuclear problem until we attach Iran.

  53. Trittydi Says:

Oh yeah? Then Limpballs can be prosecuted for war crimes too.
    *

  54. Trittydi Says:

So what are Congress and the Senate doing to stop this from happening?
    *
