maybe boot can also explain why isn’t iran’s top terrorist on the fbi’s most wanted list? – in fact there are no iranians listed there – a few saudis,yemenis,lebanese,egyptians,kenyans and even a couple of americans – so why is iran such a major threat in the eyes of the neocons?

It’s too bad we have become a society where slapping the sh*t out of a dumbass troublemaker is looked down upon. Used to be it was considered “getting what you deserved” and we didn’t have to deal with people like Boot for long after the first time his bell got rung. The word got out and a lot of Boot-like people were more careful with what they said. We just didn’t have this kind of talk back in the day.

The surge was about creating political goals, not defeating Iraq. And if you look at it politically the surge has not, to this day, passed those benchmarks.
