All you C&Lers who spent the last six months accusing Hillary of everything under the sun and vilely calling her all kinds of dirty names and trying to force her out of the race are NOW so offended that someone on the McCain site called her a name. Welcome to democracy 2008. You want only her votes, and you will get some, but many of her supporters are bitter. I have decided to leave the democratic party after 36 years. I almost did so in 2000 after I saw how many in the party treated Al Gore. I decided to stick it out then, but this is way too much. Obama may may win the White House, and if he does you can all thank your corporate media. After all, they ran a splendid campaign for him.

My point was that this is a comment section on a website, and regardless of how reprehensible some of it may be, people can say whatever they want to here. However, that kind of language has no business in anything being spoken by someone who is trying to get our highest elected office, nor by anyone associated with their campaign.

By “your comment” I meant when you said “we aren’t running for president.” That doesn’t make it ok for those who made comments degrading to women. You surely don’t mean only those men who are in the public eye have to be respectful to women? I hardly think that is the point unbelievable was trying to make. The English language is quite rich enough to express your disagreement and/or disgust with a woman without making sexually degrading remarks.
