I think the story is humorous…picking one week to top O’Reilly’s ratings “for the first time ever” is meaningless and hardly newsworthy. Also, O’Reilly wasn’t on the show most of the week! I think the story caters to the choir. I’d be more interested in the consitency of the ratings!

As exciting as this is…

O’Reilly’s total viewers still almost doubles Olbermann’s, so a minor victory in one demo for one week isn’t that big of a deal…

ALSO, in the week in question, Laura Ingraham sat in for Bill O’Reilly on Friday’s show. If you take Friday out of the statistics and just compare the three days when it was just Bill vs. Keith, O’Reilly has a bigger share of the demo…

You just have to be careful with statistics like this

It’s hard to argue with a group of people that think grilled cheese sandwiches and prune juice is the best lunch that will ever exist. Heaven help you if you suggest you put ham and tomato on that grilled cheese sandwich…then you might get run over by a gang of old folks in motorized wheelchairs! They paid little to nothing for them, you know…a gift from the RNC to them for years of dis-service.

We need to see O’Reilly numbers get even lower..,but that’s good news right now for Olbermann.
If Olbermann conitnues his surge,then he will be able very soon to totally deflate O’Reilly’s show.
