I have heard that Chimpy has an absolutely vile temper and this is pretty much in character with the way his family functions. Get your hands very dirty/bloody but NEVER take responsibility for it. Sound typical to me.

Remember,when the announcement was made that Rove was leaving the administration it was all he could do to keep his composure–he was in tears? I remember that day, like it was yesterday, and I said to a good friend watching it with me at the gym, looks like Lardass has been canned.

The two of them deserve each other–genius???–criminal is more like it and a coward.

Bush didn’t have the balls to fire Rove at the office, like most bosses do. He’s afraid of Rove’s temper, so he fired him in church, where Karl wouldn’t make a scene.
To paraphrase GOP attack ads, if Bush can’t stand up to Rove, how can he stand up to The Terrorists?

Paul Alexander is a former writer for Time magazine and coming on the heels of Scott McClellan’s book, it will be fun to watch Karl Rove squirm on Fox Noise. The book is out today and the author is making plenty of media appearances I am sure.
I watched Election Central with Campbell Brown on CNN last night at the gym as I sweated for an hour on the elliptical trainer. She plans to have him as a guest tonight (Tuesday) and MSNBC’s Countdown will surely have him on at some point. I imagine we have only seen the tip of the iceberg in the criminal and unethical doings of this administration. Shutting down any hope of a recount in Florida and taking office by being installed in a coup de tat by the United States Supreme Court in 2000 shows these people will stop at nothing to keep their political power. Just look at the attempts to fire US attorneys, imprison Democratic Alabama Gov. Don Siegleman, take bribes from Jack Abramoff, cut voters off the rolls by cumbersome ID laws, let New Orleans get destroyed, reward defense contractors, and lie this country into a endless war. Obviously Satan wants his soul back.

Ignorance at 10:47, I believe that Karen Hughes left on her own twice. She saw that she was losing a power struggle the first time so she went home. The second time she saw that she was useless in trying to convince Muslim women how much w respected them and wanted them to have full citizenship in their countries.

And so it turns out that Rove was thrown under the bus. I realize it’s probably futile to understand the criminal mind, but why in the world do so many people pledge loyalty to an organization that will toss them out with the trash the second they outlive their usefulness?

I don’t know about that. It could be that Bush chose that location so Turdblossom couldn’t start screaming and cursing at him. If Bush could only figure out how to send a text message, he could have saved himself a trip to church.

I think Bush was still sour grapes from the monumental loss in the 2006 elections, despite Karl’s “math.”

Until that point, Karl was the much lauded “Architect” upon whom Bush heaped praise. After that, he was a personal embarrassment. And needed to be pushed out.

Such is politics among the palace guard.

Rove (supposedly) sold his wildly successful mailing/fundraising business in 1999 at Bush’s behest to join the campaign. That business (which Karl supposedly no longer owns) has been raking hundreds of millions in dough during this Administration. And Karl has been earning $161,000 a year. Only $161,000.

Now I have my susupicions if Karl was receiving kickbacks or not during his government service, but regardless, I wonder if he feels if it was worth is now that he’s out.
