Why women give McCain a zero.

Brave New Films imagines what birth control options women would have if a Senator with a zero rating from Planned Parenthood and NARAL ProChoice America were elected President. Watch it:

He still needs to get himself a good Vice President, though, and http://www.votenic.com hosts a 2008 VP poll every week, so see what America thinks.

It’s NOT just reproductive rights that affect the way women view McCain. Don’t forget that this is the guy who believes that women just need “education and training” instead of being paid fairly in the workplace.

Because you get what you deserve ………..

  6. raynman says:

It’s a good thing that McCain has all those ‘feminists’ who were supporting Hillary deciding to vote for him rather than Obama.

It’s such a principled stand on their parts…..

  7. Leftside Annie says:

Misogynistic old bastard. Feh. He can kiss my liberated feminist ASS.

  20. ninique says:

ok, so let’s have even more unwanted pregnancies, shall we?

  21. McWars says:

McCain’s on record for singling out Chelsea, a woman, and making a cruel joke about her, yet a few bitter supporters of her mother want to vote for the windbag.

I have a good feeling that these tensions will dissipate further as the days pass. They may temporarily fire back up in a few circles if Hillary isn’t placed on the ticket, but the future looks very bright for Obama. He’s poised to take some swing states this November. I consider it possible, by my own brief calculation, that Obama may exceed 300 electoral college points.

  22. ninique says:

McWars, what was it that he said about Chelsea?

  23. Shayne says:

So those women veterans coming home from Iraq with no GI bill will have no birth control to go along with the no health care and no help with education. Well godfreakinblessamerica.

thanx, McWars! he’s a real charmer, ain’t he?

  25. Alejandro says:

Holy crap. John McCain wants to ban all birth control!!
(Unless this ad is misleading or something, but I know that can’t be true.)

  26. celtic cynic says:

Methinks Chelsea Clinton ought to go on the stump and berate McSame for what he is – a doddering, corrupt old fool.

  27. BrianFL says:

Even worse than his policies, the Supreme Court will shift even further right under John McCain. He pledges to appoint Justices in the mold of Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas.

Women will lose the rights over their bodies. The ability to sue their workplace over discrimination will be restricted, meaning more women facing discrimination at work. Things like diversity programs for athletics in public schools/universities will be challenged and could be defeated under McCain’s far-right Supreme Court. Women’s rights will be rolled back in a number of areas.

On my worst day, the ladies still gave me a 6 to 7. And that was before Nadia Commenich (sp)

  31. dbadass says:

So we can return to the back alley method?

  32. dbadass says:

abortion has been around for millenia. Few babies die from abortions and that very small percentage of late term abortions usually are based on extreme circumstances. Most of these events involve cellular masses and potential babies

  33. dbadass says:

No Not at all the same. I know several woman who have had abortions. I each case this woman faced very serious and difficult decisions. In each case the choice they along with their professional medical doctors made was the correct one in their circumstances. This is a complex and private matter. To suggest you know what is best or right versus wrong is arrogant to say the least.

  34. dbadass says:

One would have to first assume a mass of undiferentiated cells was a life. So in your world no abortions under any circumstances eh?

  35. dbadass says:

so I suppose no death penalty in your world either

  36. dbadass says:

Can an individual take their own?

  37. dbadass says:

and no matter what the suffering of the patient or loved ones my be no “plug can be pulled”? Now what about the animals? They are living things too right? And it goes without saying that all wars are out.
