people like John Kerry mindlessly throw around the words racist and Marxist without really knowing what they mean, because GOP talking points tell them what to say without giving them an explanation why.

If that won’t work as a deterrent, nothing will.

Ah, a concern troll first thing in the morning! I expect that between now and November, we will be getting a lot of insinuations about Obama’s general fitness for office because the this type of vague doubt-raising is about all the opposition has against him.

Let me address your concerns, though.

1. “very little experience” — Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, and Ronald Reagan were all elected to the highest office in the land with less political experience than Obama has (four years in the U.S. Senate, and eight years in the Illinois State Senate).

2. “has never run anything” — What would you consider a qualifying “thing” to run? John McCain has never “run” anything, unless you count his chairmanship of the Senate Commerce Committee. Hillary Clinton hasn’t “run” anything, either, except for a few project committees as FLOTUS. Barack Obama has also chaired a committee in the Illinois Senate. Additionally, Obama was president of the Harvard Law Review, has served on several boards of directors, and was president and chairman of the board for the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. I think if you look at the resume of any serious candidate, you will find something in their background they have “run”, but it won’t be anything resembling running the United States. The only type of candidate who can boast that kind of experience is an incumbent president running for re-election.

3. You are wise to avoid flip-flop comparisons. Obama has, for the most part, stayed on the same message he started with, whereas McCain flip-flops like a freshly-caught trout on a daily basis. Anyone who wants to accuse Obama of flip-flopping while McCain is in the race will be eaten alive on this board.

4. “has a very suspect circle of friends and associates (including racists)” — You don’t mention any names, so I can only assume you are talking about Resko and Wright. Both of whom he has distanced himself from. Obama is no racist (remember, he’s biracial himself), and he denounces anyone who has any message of divisiveness, as that conflicts directly with his own message of unity. If you look into ANY candidate’s circle of associates (past or present), you will find crooks, racists, and assorted unsavory characters if you look hard enough (don’t get me started on McCain’s OWN evangelical bigots or his lobbyist parade).

So, concern troll — you have failed to come up with any real specifics. You are just perpetuating a vague whispering campaign to plant seeds of doubt with no basis in fact. Nice try, but your agenda is pretty obvious.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, unless the imposter John Kerry proves me wrong, he’s a Fascist sympathiser and apologist.
