With all the Congressmen, Senators in government we have ONE ONLY ONE who understands who he represents. The media will call this man a Wacko but in reality he is the only one with the courage to tell it like it is. Lets support this man not by just wishing him well...but by calling your local elected member of Congress or Senate and telling them to support impeachment or you can count on looking for a new job when there term is up. The GIG is up for the crooks in the WHOROR HOUSE...thats what it has become.

I got busy this morning and sent the letter below.
***
http://judiciary.house.gov/Contact.aspx

Messrs. Bush and Cheney, abetted by members of their administration, distorted and abused intelligence to commit a national and international crime in the invasion and occupation of Iraq. These crimes have brought us into serious jeopardy as a nation, crippled our military readiness, distorted our global reputation, wasted enormous resources desperately needed at home and, most gravely, resulted in the needless suffering and deaths of hundreds of thousands of men, women and children (American, Iraqis, etc.)

Failure of the Judiciary Committee to move rapidly on Rep. Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment renders you and your colleagues guilty of being accessories and collaborationists with the crimes alleged, and for which ample evidence exists in the public record, in those articles. It is your duty to fully, openly and swiftly investigate these serious charges of crimes against the American people and the world.

The Bush/Cheney regime has mocked the Constitution, eviscerated Congressional oversight while dramatically expanding the Executive, created the Gulag of Guantanamo (despite a "friendly" Supreme Court rejecting their arguments on the rights of detainees), instituted ineffective and illegal methods of torture as part of our collective practice--and yet this brief list of outrageous and shocking behavior is incomplete.

Messrs. Bush and Cheney should NOT be permitted to escape scrutiny and justice through timidity and inaction on the part of Committee members.

Please undertake your duty to your office and to the citizens of the United States of America. Act with alacrity so that we can restore some semblance of justice and dignity to our nation.

Thank you for your attention. I formally request a response in writing.

When I read that the great American patriot, Dennis Kucinich, was issuing 35 articles of impeachment against George W. Bush, my first thought was, why so few?

Because we all know by now that George W. Bush has committed many more crimes than just 35. And when added to all the crimes committed by Dick Cheney, as well as so many other culture of corruption Republicans in the Bush administration, we could be looking at thousands of impeachable or criminally prosecutable offenses.

So, I have no doubt that Dennis Kucinich will be able to easily expand his list of articles of impeachment against George W. Bush, with the only consideration and possible limitation being how many hours does Dennis Kucinich want to spend reciting them on the House floor, while personally and officially reading them into the Congressional Record.

Kudos to Dennis Kucinich, a true American hero and patriot.

Shovel or keyboard? The biggest uncertainty in this election, aside from race, is what effect the "Intertubes" will have this time around. It's a rapidly evolving force in politics that has not been much explored.

And Truth is definitely the best ammo. It's like kryptonite to these lowlifes.

Tanqueray Says:

Oh, I’m sure the tourists will be flocking to Florida when gas and air travel becomes unaffordable, and the people in the N.E are choosing between food they can’t afford or heating oil that they can’t afford. Good luck with that. Do you even think about the world outside of your mommies basement?

Right back at 'ya - if it becomes too harsh, don't you think many will consider moving there? And will they just meekly accept that their new home state has been/may be fouled? Not any Americans I know.

The whole nation bears that shame, freeWilly, even those who don't own it. And it will be people like us, with our votes and contributions, who can fix what's broken. Our system still has so many strengths I think we can reclaim an honorable place among civilized people. But first? We need to take out the trash.

BTW TAnkerRay, turbines (jet engines) run very well on bio-diesel, or just about anything else. Air transport will be one of the last to go. Long after the demise of the conventional automobile.

WTF does Florida offshore drilling have to do with Articles of Impeachment again?

And just to dash the hopes of trolls, you may want to examine "Congress's dismal approval ratings". Democrats who have tried to thwart Bush are doing quite well against potential contenders. Republicans and chuckenhawks, those who have the balls to face humiliating defeat in another election, aren't doing so well. There's a pretty sharp divide between the popularity of individual lawmakers and the Congress as a body.

But hey. If "dismal approval ratings" float your hopes? Knock yourself out. Just don't try pushing that "everything was great until '06" crap. Like all lies it's only use is as a diagnostic tool.

Kucinich would have been a great Democratic Candidate and President elect had the media and their 'pundolts' hadn't wanted a Clinton/Obama battle from the getgo.

Hey #6 Tanqueray, you are either uninformed or toinformed.
Which one is it? I say 2nd. Which would make you complicit to the criminal acts of the goverment.
Here is a quote from Mark Twain: "When a man who is honestly mistaken hears the truth, He will either quit being mistaken
or He will cease to be honest" So again which camp do you support? The HONOR of our country has been stripped and sold.
Maybe we can get some dignity back if we stand up for what we claim to stand for..Dont even ask whom I voted for.I will wear my head in shame the remainder of my life due to my mistake.
cheers.

Is it any wonder Congress's approval rating is so dismal? They make chickens look like Spartans. Kucinich being the exception.

One must consider that some lawmakers are cautious, or terrified, of what Bushco can still accomplish. "Krazy Denny" is relatively safe as a lone voice. If he starts getting vocal support? His life expectancy, and his supporters, will drastically diminish.

Whether or not any deals have been cut, it's quite apparent everyone is willing to wait for our own regime change. Assuming Bushco leaves quietly, that may be the best we can hope for.

It is too bad the majority of Representatives and American people are too concerned with satisfying their latest urges related to instant gratification, to be concerned with the real Maverick, Kucinich.

To the troublesome trolls:
you really seriously believe drilling on the coast is goingto save you when you fill up your hummer?
HAHAHAHAHA: what naive, gullible, intellectually challenged folks fill up the troll jar on TP.
Consider:
Florida gets most of their revenue from tourism. I'm sure I'll
want to run down to Daytona Beach when high tide rolls in gobs of oil along with a few dead fish
Their second highest source of revenue is sales taxes on the working poor.
Go ahead, drill, maybe some rich folks will finally have to pay an income tax, because I really don't want to sea dead pelicans with my stroll at the ocean
take care

Maybe Dennis should get together with Bugliosi (BUY HIS BOOK NOW!) and rethink his strategy. Impeachment is called for, but even it were to happen (and Republican senators wouldn't convict because of..say it with me..9/11), it can't be the ONLY punishment for deliberately lying America into an illegal war where 4100 troops have died. On the other hand, perhaps it isn't clear the cowardly, deserting Bush wouldn't immediately crap his pants and resign just like Nixon if they just announced they are starting hearings. But then, everybody has ignored subpoenas so far, seems to be their M.O.
