Donald Rumsfeld declined to answer whether he will support Sen. John McCain for president, becoming the Arizona Senator’s latest endorsement holdout. In Feb. 2007, McCain said that Rumsfeld will “go down as one of the worst secretaries of defense in history.” But in May 2004, McCain said, “I am an admirer of Secretary Rumsfeld. I think he is an honorable man.” MyDD has more.
Rumsfeld already committed to endorsing Voldemort…

June 19th, 2008 at 9:49 am“There are things we know we know, things we don’t know we know things we know we don’t know and — worst of all — things that we don’t know we don’t know. McNumbNuts is in that last group.”

June 19th, 2008 at 9:50 amSo one rat won’t endorse another rat. Who cares? I’ll file this under ‘don’t give a rat’s ass.’

June 19th, 2008 at 9:53 amWow — you mean there are still people out there who care what Rumsfeld thinks or whom he endorses?
McCain should have saved his breath. Rumsfeld wasn’t worth the flip-flop. Of course, McCain probably flip-flops on pure reflex by now…
June 19th, 2008 at 9:56 amWill this get as much air time as all the supposed “high profile” Dems who have announced their support of McCain?
Highly doubtful.
The media will come around to reality at some point between now and November, right? Right?
PEACE
June 19th, 2008 at 10:00 amWhy on earth would McIdiot want Rumsfelds’ endorsement anyhow?? What could Rummy possibly add to the campaign? If McCain had half a brain, he’d be out there announcing that Rummy refused to endorse him, and he’s glad!
June 19th, 2008 at 10:00 amWill this get as much air time as all the supposed “high profile” Dems who have announced their support of McCain?
And just who would that be, sweetpea? Besides Zell Miller and Smokin’ Joe Lieberschitz, I mean.
June 19th, 2008 at 10:05 amRumsfeld, the war criminal, should be asked about torture and his role in this illegal invasion/occupation, not endorsements.
June 19th, 2008 at 10:08 amI’m with you on this conniptionfit. Having Rumy’s endorsement would just give the Dems another example of the 3rd Bush term.
June 19th, 2008 at 10:09 amtom Says:
Will this get as much air time as all the supposed “high profile” Dems who have announced their support of McCain?

Tom, guess you aren’t following Josh Marshall’s story over at TPM. That would have been snark. Sorry I wasn’t more clear.
PEACE
June 19th, 2008 at 10:10 amRummy was fired in disgrace……who wants anything to do with him? Might as well get an endorsment from olly north. Mcflipper will need all he can get to even be considered relevant in the upcoming elections.
June 19th, 2008 at 10:16 amspensers mom –

June 19th, 2008 at 10:16 amI mean, you really have to be scum to get fired in disgrace from the bush admin…..does that give you some idea of what a 0 rummy is from now on…..

Who would want his endorsement? It is of like the kiss of death. Wish old Don would endorse him, it might help Obama.
June 19th, 2008 at 11:07 amWho cares about this arrogant war criminal!!!
June 19th, 2008 at 11:30 amAgreed lark. This is liable to be spun by McCain’s media fan club as a result of his mythical criticism of the Bush administration.
June 19th, 2008 at 11:32 amYou mean Scummy Rummy is taking the moral highroad? BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That’s rich
