The bus hits the road June 24 and is scheduled to make roughly 150 stops between now and Election Day.

Actually, it’s only officially scheduled to make 30 stops; the other 120 stops are for car washes to scrub off the expected rotten eggs and garbage…

They have to drive it on flat regions exclusively ‘cuz when it gets near cliffs and sheer drop-off, the bus has an inexplicable tendency to veer towards them….

Went to my local grocer – small franchised store – he knows I am a Democrat (buttons, t-shirts, bumper stickers) and he often talks politics, however briefly, to me.
He is counting the days until we are rid of the plague in the White House and believes we will need at least 15 years, more than three terms, to repair the damage Bush has done.
I was encouraged by his few words because we are in decidedly right-wing territory, and I believe he represents a growing number of people who will swing “left” this fall.
