Yes, the prize is that she distracts from how dumb Norm Coleman is. Take a look at his “Ah Shucks! I’m just a regular harmless hubbie” ad. Looks neutered and harmless doesn’t he? Yeaa right. They can always find another Michele Bachman. But if they lose the senate seat… THAT’s another story. Bachman is running interference for Coleman and a few others. Count on it.

I was listening to Sean Hannity today (I’m immune to this idiot, don’t worry) and the guest hosting the show said that we won’t get any oil out for 10 years, but don’t worry, we can push the oil companies to hurry and they might get it done in 5 years! Another day I heard Sean Hannity say that we can force the companies to sell the oil to Americans instead of exporting it abroad. So I see…government is only good when it makes a convenient talking point for these pseudo-conservatives!

I’m tempted to move the few blocks North to her district, just so I can vote against her. I think her district knows what they have. Her numbers aren’t looking good and she just keeps on saying the most batscat insane drivel.

I have an “energy plan”.

1st. All passenger vehicles sold after 2010 must meet, or exceed, 35mpg.

2nd. Outlaw incandescent, and other inefficient, light bulbs.

3rd. Preset home thermostats. 68 in winter, 75 in summer.

4th. New, efficient, refineries.

5th. Auxiliary sails on merchant vessels.

6th. Tax the oil industry proportionate to the profits they’ve realized.

I could go on, but, I think you get the idea. There’s LOTS that can be done without going after ANWR which, due to location and climate challenges, will be the most expensive crude on the planet.
