McClellan: Cheney’s memoir could be called, ‘I Upped Halliburton’s Income - So Up Yours.’»

In a speech at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco last night, former White House press secretary Scott McClellan offered cutting criticism of Vice President Dick Cheney, saying he “had a terribly negative influence over this president.” At one point, McClellan suggested “some ideas for book titles Cheney might consider“:

McClellan who is clear that he has no great admiration for Cheney, joked to the audience that his national book tour has given him some ideas for book titles Cheney might consider: “The Lies I Told,” or “I Upped Halliburton’s Income - So Up Yours.”

McClellan also offered potential book title ideas for Karl Rove and Scooter Libby: “The Lies I Told to Whom and Why” and “Well, Pardon Me,” respectively.

It doesn’t strike you as a fantastic coincidence that after we put a former oil man (Bush) and a former petroleum services company VP (Cheney) in charge of our govt that alternative fuel research has gone no where, oil prices have skyrocketed while oil companies rake in obscene profits, yet they claim they’re just passing the cost of doing business onto the consumer (if this were true, their profit margins would remain more or less the same, not DRASTICALLY increase you simpleton)…oh and the stock of said petroleum services company just happens to skyrocket as well. Of course that was after big Dick sat down with all the major oil company heads (the people who stood to PROFIT from who our energy policies are written or not written) in SECRET and wrote our energy policies with them…and we’re STILL not allowed to know what the hell it is they talked about.

And you base that statement on what? Where is your proof? Which group of politicians is so afraid of a black man as President? Last I looked, it wasn’t the republics. Who has almost all of the Blacks support? If we are so ‘racist’, why would they be heavily Dem?

And as for me, you have NO idea about my position on race. SO, don’t ass-ume anything, OK?

I will admit to being bigoted; against blindly loyal Repug NeoCon Bush ass-lickers, that I will admit to.

lock_box “thinks” our military is incompetent. How telling.

Sorry to interrupt, this is a little off topic but this is lock box’s Mom and I need to apologize for his rude behavior. There’s a reason for it and I hope that you can show some compassion. When LB was but a child his father left us for his other cousin, younger than I and she had more teeth. I was left to fend for myself and I resorted to the “oldest profession” to keep LB in cereal and food on the table, plus a little left over for the crack pipe.

Little LB was so cute, he used to clean me up for the next client and his little tongue was so gentle. Especially after I had been hit in the behind, which is also an explanation for his continued support for Bush, he likes to kiss ass.

Anyway, be easy on my little guy. I have tried to get him some professional help, but until he does, or until the law catches up with him, you are just going to have to live with his ramblings. Please just flag him on sight, and all the other names he posts under.

    Thanks so much.

    Awwww isn’t this cute:
First, it appears rogerse(rogerdo, rogerdrunk, rogerreallydrunk) has finally passed out! Hopefully, when he awakens, his “buzz” will be gone, and after a couple of Advil and re-hydration, he can formulate a complete sentence with actual words used in the English language!

And then there’s lock_box(and run quickly away from the big black scary gay man), who instead of apologizing for not understanding correctly about NO BID CONTRACTS, turns the conversation into the unsubstantiated claim “Progressives are racist, because I said so”.
Here’s how a normal person would have responded…
I was not aware the Halliburton had a no bid contract. I thought they were the only company that had the qualifications. I did not, by any means, intend to offend the military, and I realize I should have spent more time researching the material before “debating”. I apologize for my behavior, and will learn from this lesson.

Of course, a normal person doesn’t have cheeto stains on his c*ck_box, either!

    Name one!

    Bechtel.

Want more? Some of the companies currently aiding in the war effort as private contractors, but in a much smaller capacity, and not under no-bid contracts.
