Yesterday, ThinkProgress noted an exchange between Rep. William Delahunt (D-MA) and Cheney chief of staff David Addington, in which Addington claimed he could not talk about torture techniques because “al Qaeda may watch C-Span.” Delahunt quipped in response, “Right. Well, I’m sure they are watching, and I’m glad they finally have a chance to see you, Mr. Addington.”
The right-wing is feigning outrage over the comments, incorrectly interpreting Delahunt as having called for al Qaeda to attack Addington. “Inappropriate,” said Megan Mitchell, spokeswoman for Vice President Cheney. “Inciting Al Qaeda to violence,” chimed in Rep. Steve King (R-IA). “That’s absurd. That was not my intent,” Delahunt said in reaction to the exaggerated criticism.
Delahunt’s sarcastic remark about Addington’s penchant for secrecy was the subject of a segment on this morning’s Fox & Friends. Co-host Brian Kilmeade attempted to argue that Delahunt put Addington at risk because “now al Qaeda can see you and understand who’s putting this policy together.” Geraldo Rivera responded:
Fox News airs in 144 countries. They [al Qaeda] knows what’s going on. We tell them what’s going on. That’s the risk of having an open society.
Kilmeade then argued Addington will now “be targeted” by al Qaeda. Rivera and co-host Gretchen Carlson both disagreed, responding, “That is a stretch.” Carlson said if al Qaeda “wanted to knock someone off, they’re going to choose someone at a higher level.” Rivera added that Addington would not “be in the bullseye.” Watch it:

So it’s NOT just a political strategy.
They really are scared of everything.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:22 pm“Kilmeade then argued Addington will now “be targeted” by al Qaeda.”
Promise?
June 27th, 2008 at 2:23 pmLOL, LividLib - you beat me to it. ;o)
June 27th, 2008 at 2:23 pmIf the people of this country had any sense they would have taken care of people like Addington, Yoo, Bolton, etc., themselves.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:23 pm“Republican Policy: that’s a stretch”
I think that would make a nice bumper sticker.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:26 pmDelahunt’s comment yesterday was the high point of my day. And now, seeing these rightwingnuts pee all over themselves and scramble to be the first to get their desperate expressions of feigned outrage out there…it has become the high point of my day today as well.
Well done sir.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:26 pmWhy would AlQaeda target such repug swine?
June 27th, 2008 at 2:27 pmThey are actually the best recruiting tool AlQaeda will ever know. They have allowed AlQaeda to grow in strength and numbers, and to expand into new countries (Iraq).
Why would AlQaeda target their own employees?
Eeeek!! GET THE DUCT TAPE AND THE PLASTIC SHEETING!!!!!!
June 27th, 2008 at 2:27 pmDopey Fox News.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:28 pmoh and why would al qaeda want to target Addington? The shite he’s responsible for has become one of al qaeda’s most successful recruiting tools, they LOVE Addington just like they LOVE Bush, Cheney, and the rest of the criminal cabal currently squatting in the White House.
THAT was the intent, possibly, of Delahunt’s comments. He meant he was glad that Al Qaeda could finally get a good look at one of their greatest benefactors.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:28 pmhaha, octamethyl beat me to the punch.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:29 pmThe faux hysteria and desperation is laughable.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:30 pmCarlson said if al Qaeda “wanted to knock someone off, they’re going to choose someone at a higher level.” Rivera added that Addington would not “be in the bullseye.”
Wow, an intelligent thought came out of Carlson’s mouth. Will wonders never cease.
Besides, I’m sure that AQ is quite aware of who it is in our government that has sanctioned torture. They have known this for a long time. If they were going to punish anyone for being part of the torture conspiracy, they would have done so by now. On the other hand, I kind of like the idea that if any of these people travel over seas, they will have to be looking over their shoulders for many years to come. Perfect punishment for having brought this shame onto this country.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:34 pmIf this “outrage” is hyped by the corporate media and Delahunt is forced to apologize, my head will surely burst.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:36 pmAddington would not “be in the bullseye.
Shucks.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:36 pmI hope that TRAITOR Addington IS “targeted”.
I hope they GET him…
Say hello to Debra Jeanne, Davie!!!
June 27th, 2008 at 2:36 pmAddington has nothing to worry about–he and the neocons have been the best thing that ever happened to AQ.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:40 pmIf Kilmeade knows that Addington will now be targeted by AQ, shouldn’t he just tells us where they are since he seems to have all this inside knowledge about them?
June 27th, 2008 at 2:40 pmIf I were a scared as FOX and the Republicans I would be too ashamed to show it.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:40 pmMaybe we should make Washington. DC a “closed city” like the USSR had - to keep anyone out who doesn’t belong there.
That would keep dear Mr. Addington safe.
But wait, he rides METRO to work every day. Considering that METRO trains derail, crash and catch fire at an alarming rate, I suspect Addington has more to fear from his choice of intermodal transportation than theoretical terrorists.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:41 pmAddington chips in to pay Al-Qaeda’s mortgage. Carlson knew this in disagreeing with Kilmeade.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:43 pmOh, gimme a break. Assuming Al Qaeda DOES watch C-Span all day long, I’m supposed to believe they will target Addington solely because Delahunt pointed him out?
On C-Span, Al Qaeda has probably seen all the discussion about waterboarding (and who said what), the confirmation hearings for Mukasey, and plenty of discussion about torture, terrorism, Iraq, and other matters of interest to them. As a result, they probably have a whole list of “unfavorite” people.
I find it hard to believe that Addington would be at the top of their list due to Delahunt’s comment. Especially since Addington brought up Al Qaeda, not Delahunt.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:44 pmDang, first Sean Insanity misses his cue on the Korean nuke deal now Gretchen Carlson nutfudges the “David Addington marked for death” riff. When you can’t count on Fox “News” for consistency the world really must be changing.
The best part of the exchange however is Geraldo’s “al Qaeda knows what’s going on. We tell them what’s going on.” Can you imagine al Qaeda getting its news from Fox? I can just see Bin Laden having a coronary after watching Cavuto interview the Hooters girls.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:47 pmListening to Fox News’ talking heads debating something is like listening to someone with Down’s syndrome trying to outwit someone with Fragile X syndrome.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:48 pmRamblin’ rogerse, right on cue.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:51 pmDelahunt’s comment might “incite al Qaeda to violence”?
Bring ‘em on.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:53 pmIn the words of Five Deferment Dick,
So?
June 27th, 2008 at 2:54 pmBoy, am I glad that al Qaeda has no idea what Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Rice, Gates, Petraeus, Pace or anyone else in Bush administration whose image can be “googled” looks like. Thankfully, al Qaeda has no access to the worldwide web. DUH!
June 27th, 2008 at 2:54 pmI was just visiting our other sides sights, and boy are they hot over this. Really shrill.
I reminded them that it was Charlie Black who said an attack would be good for the GOP. The right side truly believes the sh!t on Fox News; I mean they really believe it. How many Low Information Voters are out there?
June 27th, 2008 at 2:54 pmWe have met the “few dead enders left,” and it is the executive branch.
Glad to see that they were as competent implementing the plan for a permanent Rethuglican majority as they were for occupying Iraq or responding to Katrina or addressing “our addiction to oil.”
June 27th, 2008 at 2:58 pmStratRat Says:
How many Low Information Voters are out there?
How many voted for Bush…. twice?
June 27th, 2008 at 2:58 pmThe entire Bush administration are heroes to AlQuaida, absolute heroes. Bush has bankrupt our nation, pissed off our allies, stretched our military, spied on our neighbors, emboldend all the terrorists, provided an entire nation (Iraq) as a terror training ground, made innocent victims into terrorists by keeping Gitmo open, let Pakistan shelter al quaida, etc…
I am sure the cave walls are decorated with all forms of pictures from Bush and Cheney. Absolute Al Quaida heroes.
Mission Accomplished! America is gone.
June 27th, 2008 at 2:59 pmAddington was unable to hide his arrogance and stupidity during the hearing. I expected more from him. AlQaeda wouldn’t waste a bullet on a fool like him.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:04 pmOur executive branch is their best recruiting tool. Why would they want to disrupt that?
June 27th, 2008 at 3:04 pm“That’s the risk of having an open society…”
The terroists hate us for our freedoms, so Bush has appeased them by taking our freedoms away from us.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:04 pm.
Assuming FOXPRAVDA is correct…
Aren’t they asking Al CIA-duh to focus on Addington and to take him out by all their rhetoric?
.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:04 pmrogerse Says:
Terrorists don’t watch c-span,
You mean to tell me that you have Wi Fi in your cave, but you don’t have satellite TV?
June 27th, 2008 at 3:06 pm“Kilmeade then argued Addington will now “be targeted” by al Qaeda.”
as Qaeda has better things to do. They’re busy watching our freedoms go right down the drain. I’m pretty sure Addington is gonna be okay since he’s the one helping to flush our dreams down said drain.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:06 pmstratrat,
June 27th, 2008 at 3:06 pmThere are no cave walls in D.C.
Has no one heard of the Congressional Directory? Do republicans actually think they are invisible unless seen on C-SPAN (would explain a lot if true).
We live in an OPEN SOCIETY and I refuse to allow the threat of terrorism to staunch my freedoms. And I will not consider voting for a candidate who attempts to frighten people into voting for the status quo.
Jesus, the terrorists also know what Cheney and Bush and Rove look like. Hasn’t seemed to hurt them.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:08 pmIgnoranceIsNotBliss Says:
al Qaeda has better things to do. They’re busy watching our freedoms go right down the drain.
They must have a closed circuit connection to the White House.

June 27th, 2008 at 3:10 pmWhether you support Democrats or Republicans the comment needs to be called what it is and that’s “shameful”. No matter how frustrated the Representative is with the current administration a comment like that is unacceptable and really showed his lack of judgement.
I didn’t find the comment that surprising when I was made aware the Congressman was from Massachusetts.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:11 pmDerek Says:
I didn’t find the comment that surprising when I was made aware the Congressman was from Massachusetts.
Dick Cheney is drawing up plans to invade Massachusetts, as we speak.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:13 pm“I didn’t find the comment that surprising when I was made aware the Congressman was from Massachusetts.”
I don’t get this. Derek wants to take some self proclaimed moral highground and then disparages an entire state. Looks like stupid ass tripe to me
June 27th, 2008 at 3:16 pmAnd I know that TP and staff are just having a ball on this posting of Friday’s stupidity news from the brain dead media. Now, I was on the floor cracking up yesterday about Addington’s refusal to talk about the torture techniques because Al Queda may be watching C-SPAN. And now Al-Queda may be targeting Addington? And where is this being reported, on Fox News? And Fox News is not targeted by Al-Queda?? LOL! Addington and Fox News has been watching too much of Jack Bauer episodes! Thanks for the laugh for Friday, TP!
June 27th, 2008 at 3:17 pmI didn’t find the comment that surprising when I was made aware the Congressman was from Massachusetts.
No. Shamefull is the fact that Bush and Cheney won’t resign their offices because of criminality and incompetence. So you are implying that folks from Massachusetts are elitists? Is that the word you were going to use? Smart = elite; dumb = the bush administration. Frankly, if you are thoughtful, you would hope to have a smart chief executive providing solutions to the acute issues we face.
So you don’t like the Americans in Mass.? Why not?
June 27th, 2008 at 3:21 pmdbadass Says:
I don’t get this. Derek wants to take some self proclaimed moral highground and then disparages an entire state. Looks like stupid ass tripe to me.
Obviously, you have never had a major head injury.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:21 pmDerek
Please explain the source of your outrage. Addington is neither some covert operative whose face is unknown to the world nor a particularly high ranking governmental official whose demise would materially affect al Qaeda’s plans. He is a lawyer advising the vice president of a lame duck administration. Anybody who has paid attention to the office of the vice president this decade knows who he is. Anybody who can perform a google search can find a picture. Addington made a silly comment about al Qaeda. The congressman made a silly comment playing off Addington’s low profile. He didn’t read Addington’s address on the air or in any way put him at risk. If I am missing something enlighten me. Otherwise, let it go.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:25 pmAddington takes his salary from YOU AND ME! He doesn’t work for Cheney - he works for YOU AND ME! If he is called to speak to OUR ELECTED REPS, he needs to be respectful and truthful - because when he is talking to the reps, he is talking to OUR EMPLOYEES. They all work for us - all of them. If addington is hiding, its because he has something to hide from - the truth, and the question of congressional oversight.
Shine a light - watch them run….GOP is criminal.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:30 pmDelahunt was pretty obviously making a snark about the fact that Addington had shown his face at all in front of Congress. Usually these cockroaches either refuse to appear at all, or insist on closed-door sessions. I thought it was pretty sharp, really.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:33 pmGeraldo Rivera responded:
“Fox News airs in Amsterdam. They [The Hague] know what’s going on. We tell them what’s going on. That’s the risk of having an open society.”
Kilmeade then argued Addington will now “be targeted” by the International Criminal Court.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:33 pmI’m as ready as the next person to have the current administartion out of office and I generally vote Republican. I wasn’t disparaging the state of Massachussetts. The state is a lot more liberal than what i like, but I do love the state. I was referring to the comments of that representative as well as comments of other representatives in Mass. They generally come off as elitist and do have a tendancy to put a foot or two in their mouths. Here’s another rescent example; James Fagan. If you like I can throw out some more.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:37 pmLet’s hope AlQ gets their info from fox, because then they are likely to be wrong, so there’d be no need to worry.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:39 pmDerek Says:

If al Qaeda gets their news from Fox, they’ll just pester Britney Spears and kidnap a blond.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:41 pmDerek, please give us your definition of “elitist”.
Right-wingers like to use it as one of their all-purpose epithets, usually when it makes no sense. I’d like to determine whether you are one of those.
THEN please tell us how Delahunt’s remarks are “elitist”, because I just ain’t seeing it.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:42 pmits spelled “capitOl”.
idiots.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:43 pmshoeless, often happens, you seem to have cut to the heart of the matter much more quickly than I.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:44 pmshoeless Says:
Derek, do you have bad self esteem?
No, but yours must be pretty low since you need to get personal. We don’t see eye to eye, but we can still get along.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:44 pmDerek does appear to be an expert at inserting one’s foot in one’d mouth. Now if he could figure out how to remove his head from his a$$ …
June 27th, 2008 at 3:46 pmDerek thinks anybody with indoor plumbing is elitist.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:48 pmThe beauty of Fox news stupidity shines through in that clip on multiple levels. Look at the screen graphic. They misspell Capitol.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:48 pmHey Derek,
I live in Massachusetts and I’m going to fulfill your prophecy for you:
GO FU(K YOURSELF.
We’ve got Kennedy, the Lion of the Senate. We’ve got Delahunt, who apparently is not afraid of pulling some punches. We’ve got Capuano, not a high profile guy, but a good rep. Barnie Franks is also great. Kerry is iffy.
Your comment against Massachusetts was completely unneccessary. You want to criticize Delahunt’s remarks? Fine, that is your right, however you destroy any credibility you have with what you followed it up with.
Peace.

Jackass.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:49 pmIt’s amazing isn’t it liberal traitor that Derek shows up insulting and entire state and then complains that others are getting “personal”. That’s just so Republican.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:51 pmAwright Derek! We haven’t had anyone here try the “I Know You Are But What Am I” retort in a long time.
Sweet!
June 27th, 2008 at 3:52 pmDerek, I don’t think you want to go there with a list of Dem and Repukes stupid comments - hint - you lose.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:52 pmShayne:
I want to know what “superior” state Derek comes from that apparently is so not-elitist that one of it’s denizens feels compelled to tell other states what is wrong with them.

You don’t even want to get into Kennedy. He should have been locked up after Chapaquitic. Let’s just leave it at that.
Have a great day!
June 27th, 2008 at 3:53 pmWell before we leave it at that, we may wish to check that spelling.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:54 pmOh yes I very much do want to get into it with you about Kennedy. But seeing as you’re just hit-and-running like a true little troll, have a nice day yourself in whatever state it is you come from. I won’t disparage your state because I, unlike you, know that such attacks are absurd. States are arbitrarily designated zones on a map. What matters are the people from there. I feel bad for your fellow citizens.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:54 pmchappaquiddick….sorry dbadass.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:56 pmAnd Derek follows up with a 40-year-old reference straight out of the RW Playbook, misspelling and all!
This kid has got it going on!
rogerse, watch your back. Derek’s in town!

End of story, move along.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:57 pmrogerse Says:
Terrorists don’t watch c-span, so why not reveal classified info..
Exactly. TERRORISTS like Dick Cheney and TREASON Jr. watch Fox “news” and “selectively” release classified info to bolster their LIES.
And TREASONOUSLY expose CIA spies who specialize in WMD’s.
June 27th, 2008 at 3:57 pmYou don’t even want to get into Kennedy. He should have been locked up after Chapaquitic. Let’s just leave it at that.

Yeah, let’s talk TODAY, not 40 years ago, like TREASON committed by Libby, Rove, Cheney and Bush in EXPOSING a CIA
WMD SPY and ending her career. AND the LIVES of all her contacts.
More BLOOD on TRAITOR Bush’s and Cheney’s hands.

June 27th, 2008 at 4:00 pmIs Derek the new “lock-box” sock puppet? Or did troll central assign us a new one. Let us watch and learn.
On a more serious note, in one of the few Youtube clips which actually would load, the Chairman of the committee invited Mr. Addington to testify behind closed doors to people with the necessary clearance to hear what he has to say. He did NOT accept the offer.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:03 pmpete
June 27th, 2008 at 4:06 pmS_Mart is lock _box
You are a very angry group. Peace!
June 27th, 2008 at 4:07 pmFox News airs in 144 countries?!?!?
Then, why are we wasting taxpayer money on any of the government’s overseas information programs?
Voice of America isn’t necessary anymore, because there is the Voice of the Bush Administration (Fox News) that is daily, hourly, every minute spreading Republican “talking points” around the world, filling listener’s ears overseas with BS, just like what listeners of Fox News in the U.S. hear daily, hourly, every minute.
144 countries?!?!?
No wonder our international reputation and standing has taken such a sharp downturn, with our national security being compromised in the process.

How do you feel ’bout them dang intellectuals? I hear they got a bunch o’ them up in Massachusetts too!
June 27th, 2008 at 4:08 pmDid anyone actually watch the hearing? Addington made the comment that he couldn’t answer Delahunt’s question because “Al Quaeda might be watching.” Delahunt was only commenting on the well known fact that Addingtion is not “visually” well know. He likes to lurk in the shadows. Anyone with a brain knows who and “what” he is. I liked the other exchange better.. when another congressman called Cheney a “barnacle” because Addington refused to identify which branch of the government the vice presidency is in. Now that was funny.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:09 pmNot angry at all.
In fact we enjoyed your visit tremendously. Thanks for the entertainment!
June 27th, 2008 at 4:10 pmDerek:
If you’re not angry these days, you haven’t been paying attention (which with you is likely).
What did you expect when you come in here and the first thing you do is insult an entire state?
Moron.

You never answered my question: What state are you from?
You say you vote Republican…you have NO standing to criticize my Reps or Senators when YOUR party is the one who has been systematically destroying our country.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:12 pmDerek, what’s with this focus on anger?
I think it might be unhealthy for you. Try a little yoga, my friend.

June 27th, 2008 at 4:15 pmHAHAHAHA. And there it is, the classic troll trump card: “I served! I served! Liberals give aid and comfort to terrorists!”
Thanks for outing yourself, you had a good albeit short run.
Peace out, Troll.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:17 pmI will say that the comment I made in reference to Mass as a whole was inappropriate and unfounded and do apologize.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:18 pmDissenting opinions are obviously not welcome here so I do bid everyone farewell.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:20 pmDamn straight it was. All you had to do was criticize Delahunt’s comment. That at least we could have an honest debate about. But then you had to go and insult where I’m from, see that’s what we like to call lowering the bar, pal. Not to mention the “I served (how do we know you’re telling the truth exactly?) and you didn’t so my opinion counts more than yours” bullsh!t. You’ve lost any credibility or any right to expect cordial discussions with anyone.

Oh yeah: “Traitors to our country are the one who sympathise more with our enamies than they do with the protection of our country.”
hypocrisy
noun
1 hypocrisy
insincerity by virtue of pretending to have qualities or beliefs that you do not really have
What was it your fellow Republicans called us for the last nearly 8 years whenever a Dem, a Lib, or a Prog, or Indie spoke up and called BS on this administration and the Republican Congress we had until 2006? That’s right: Traitors, Appeasers, UnAmerican, Criminals, Cowards, Terrorists…
STFU, seriously, you make me sick.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:24 pmI’ve served my country overseas multiple time, which I’m sure is way more than what you given this country, so use your words carefully when throwing traitor out there.
Your words and opinions drive that bus. I don’t. You side with those whose goal is to dismantle this 235 years old republic and replace it with a bunch of scared, frightened, robots. That makes you a traitor - regardless of any *cough* service you have provided this country. Serving your country overseas as a busboy at the Marriott is not what I would consider appropriate service to this nation. Clean up; Table 10 Derek!
You would give up essential liberties - as they were spelled out by our founding fathers - to feel safer; to Ben Franklin, that would have been the essence of being a traitor. So I think the definition fits you very well. You are also a liar by throwing up the well worn GOP accusations against progressives, so not only are you a traitor, you are also a very poor spokesperson for yourself. You seem to read your copy of the talking points well, but some of us would prefer to know what you think - if you actually do think.
BTW, you don’t know anything about me or who I am. And if you did know me, you would be very aware that I chose my words very carefully. I chose them for you, didn’t I? If you don’t like the country, the Constitution, or The Bill of Rights, then split. If you support Bush or McSame, then split. Go, Now!
I think your peanut butter sandwiches are ready. Oh boy, peanut butter!

Damn straight it was.
The, “I served” comment was in response to the traitor comment. If you would like me to verify whether I’ve served or not we can exchange e-mails sometime.
I apologize again for offending with the comment.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:29 pmDissenting opinions aren’t the problem Derek, your stupidity is. We’re running out of patience with your kind of stupid. If in fact you did “serve” I suspect it was lunch as an overpayed employee of Haliburton. Or else you could be the guy who left exposed wires in the troops’ showers because you seem to possess that kind of stupid.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:29 pmGreat, you apologized. I’m thrilled, really.
Peace, gonna go have a beer. Enough politics for one week for me…

You’re a stinkin moron! Get a life other than the one you have living at your parents house as an unemplyed 40 year old.
Is that pretty accurate?? Idiot!
June 27th, 2008 at 4:34 pmI think Derek may have learned not to come to a progressive site and spit into the fan. TP has probably some of the most asute and aware posters around. Frankly, we know our stuff and we have a sense of history and perspective. Derek is so used to the brain dead folks over at RedState or Hot Air, it amazes him that we would have a grasp of the facts and a sense of pride.
Derek, 80% of Americans think the country is going in the wrong direction. Would you agree with those 80%? and if not, why not?
Thanks for the apology, BTW. I appreciate it, as I have had to apologize for things I have said too. Very passionate topics.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:35 pmOh and Derek, you’re missing the point:
I don’t give a good rat’s ass whether or not you did serve. Really, I don’t care.
As far as showing my support for veterans, I support the GI Bill, I support bringing our troops home from this illegal war, I support revamping the VA so it actually helps returning vets, not pump them full of experimental drugs that increase suicidal tendencies.
But I am DAMN SICK AND TIRED of having that crap (I served I served, listen to MEEEEE!!!) thrown in my face OVER and OVER again. GOOD FOR YOU!! YOU SERVED!! That doesn’t make your opinion any more valuable than mine, so get over it. You are a citizen, just like me, equal under the law, just like me, with one vote and the same number of rights as me.
END.
June 27th, 2008 at 4:36 pmNot even close Derek. Pretty tough talk from somebody earning .05 a post disrupting a thread. Another 20 posts and you can buy yourself a beer big guy. Loser.

Maybe we can pick this up next week. Hopefully a little less heated. Peace…

I would like that. Passionate topics bring out passionate words and feelings. That doesn’t make them right, it only makes us human. Peace to you…
June 27th, 2008 at 4:42 pmKilmeade, isn’t he Fox and Friends official little mini-me?

June 27th, 2008 at 5:30 pmWho gives a shit what this cheap sellout has to say or think about anything? He is a republican and that is proof positive of insanity.
June 27th, 2008 at 10:49 pmThink about it these people don’t mind one little bit if you torture and kill someone else as long as it’s not them they couldn’t care less.
If you think some muslim has some information you need it ok to torture that persons child in front of them (not that that makes any difference in what is being done)could you call that anything but insane?
We have the ability to level the playing field and give everyone a chance to achieve but these fools think the best is to give some advantage and not just advantage but unfair advantage, does that not sound insane?
republican = insanity!!

June 28th, 2008 at 1:15 amGood grief! Is there some type of IQ test that Fox employees need to fail in order to work at Fox?
Kilmeade must have flunked that test BIG TIME! I usually love it when the Fox flunkies feign intelligence, but DAMN . . . Kilmeade is embarassing.
June 28th, 2008 at 6:37 pmWith this typical exchange how many “Plain Folk” understand what is going on? I fear “Not too many”. I foresee a future of never ending bull like this bull. Which is not pointing to a rosey future. Should a democrat become president, the crap unleashed on him will make what we have been treated to for the past 15 years seem like child’s play. I foresee decades of this kind of insane behavior, freezing any and every attempt at constructive problem solving by a federal government. Can the states fill the void? No, no money. We are in deep dooodo. Don’t watch TV. Rent movies instead. Make friends with your neighbors. Hide a lot.
How could that possibly be wrong? Can somebody say something encouraging ?
