Only if we turn away from the religous dogma which has limited our knowledge. If we move away from ghosts, spitits, and the like, we can over come our issues. The right side is so invested in the ‘afterlife’, they don’t give a sh!t about this life.

I don’t hate Daryll. He’s just wrong, and hopefully capable of learning.

The problem is, a people become incapable of learning from their fellow mere mortals when they think they have God whispering stuff in their ear. They think they are hearing ultimate truths, but it’s usually just tinnitus.

When people believe themselves to be closer to God than others, it leads them to regarding others as lesser beings worthy of eternal punishment.

It’s not a very good way to live your life, which is probably why Pride was listed as one of the Deadly Sins.

For example, my wife makes the small decisons, like where the kids go to school and whether we should buy a new house. I make the major decisions, like whether we should pull out of the U.N or bomb Iran.
