We have to be careful interpreting this poll because the question is kind of vague. What does “very concerned” mean here? Someone (like myself) who believes that Bush’s policies have caused death and destruction and should be abolished would be concerned if they thought McCain would follow Bush, but would not be concerned if they thought McCain wouldn’t. Someone who likes Bush’s policies and thinks McCain would follow Bush, would not be too concerned about it.

This poll doesn’t tell us much about how many people dislike Bush’s policies or how many people support McCain or how many people think McCain will follow Bush. It would be more meaningful to separate this poll into those three questions.

Only 68%…if people would pay attention to things more it would be way higher…but we do have an extremely undereducated populace, which explains why that number is so low.

It is becoming painfully obvious to this most casual observer that the health of McPain is deteriorating at a rate in excess of that one would normally expect from one of his age. How about the people who know that McBush will continue Dubya’s policies but like that idea? You know, the faithful few? Are those the ones who are “not concerned at all”?

It seems to me that when you add it all up, most people acknowledge that McCain is Bush redux, and some like the idea while most don’t.

I think that the 15% are the majority of 6 figure plus incomes.
I think that the “not too concerned” 16%ers are the wishful ones who play the lotto in hopes of entering that supposed “elite” status.

And there you have it… 31% are either rich, or dream of being reach.
The other 68% want change, as tax breaks for the rich just doesn’t cut it anymore.
