I just question Tony Blankley's worth as a human being. Could this man cheapen the aforementioned worth anymore? Can any further cost-reductions be made? Who knows. I imagine he'll continue striving for bottom.

I had to turn off this show, with its noxious theme “What is patriotism?” What a useless question. What does reflexive flag-saluting and belief in American exceptionalism mean, when the government does things that are murderous and greedy and tramples on citizens’ rights?

I frequently torture myself by listening to Diane Rehm, whose panels reflect NPR's pervasive and poorly understood right-wing/Pentagon bias - Wall Street Journal, conservative think tanks, Weekly Standard, Washington Times (with the occasional sop to progressives, i.e., David Corn). The callers are often far to the left of the guests.

"American advancement" has a far more sinister meaning for many other people in the world.

Re FL and MI. You mistakenly put MI when you must have meant OH (for Ohio) where the right wing cheated/screwed people out of their Constitutional right to vote. FL and MI went against ESTABLISHED, WELL KNOWN RULES, you know those pesky thing the right wing always scream about following - unless they are breaking them. And as for screwing kids, who voted against SCHIP? Why the right wing of course. And they give some bullshit reason about abuse, yeah the only abuse was the right wing could not gouge more money out of people. And who smeared a 12 year old kid, why, surprise, the right wing. And who is now claiming cudos for the new GI bill? Why, it's your beloved McCain - yes a man of honor. Just like the man of honor in the Whitehouse (PUKE) who smeared McCain in the run up to 2000 and now your beloved McCain is licking Bush's boots. Saying stupid things like bomb Iran - wow, how presidential can you get. And who screwed/is screwing GI's by providing shitty health care, if providing any at all other than saying the GI is faking and sends them back into battle or throws them out on the street because a real diagnosis would cost money. Who outed a CIA agent? Who said the Constitution was just a god damn piece of paper? You know, the Constitution you SWORE to DEFEND if you really were in the military. And as for you 'late' ballot, guess who you have to thank for that? Yes, your right wing buddies.

All the bullshit you are spewing is well know as bullshit to those here. So go back to your handlers and tell them they have to do better than the likes of you. You fail.

The RNC must have updated their talking points. The trolls are trying to sound like they know what they are talking about but are still spewing the same old crap. As usual, the right is proving they could care less about others so long as they can gouge, lie, scam, and line their pockets at the expense of others. And if they really were in Iraq, it just goes to show Bush really has screwed the military on mental health care, among other things.

Oops, "planting", fool fingers, even in Spanish the word has the exact same root, plantar :P

Thanks for the soccer thumbs up! Has been a long time (44 years!) since the last time we do it. Was a real shame not to pass the semifinals, specially living in a country so devoted to football :D

ucsbclassics53,

I guess you need another explanation. I never voted for Bush, as I thought I made clear in an earlier post. Having said that I do not believe that Democratic Principles such as Tax and Spend, Big Government and Rights for Illegal Aliens, Violent Criminals (i.e. Child Rapists) and dependance on foreign energy support are right for this country. But the facts are facts, Bush has spent more than a Democrat might have. He has ignored domestic policies and economic policies. He has damaged foreign policies. There is no defending that, I can't explain it other that Bush is a Republican, not a CONSERVATIVE. The fortunate thing for me right now is Bush isn't running for President, John McCain is. And John McCain is a lot more Conservative that Obama ever thought of being, even with Obama moving toward the center lately, trying to become more appealing to middle class America. I just don't by Obama. He is not trustworthy, believable and he represents absolutely nothing that I veiw as important. I do not want Socialism or Communism for our country. I want Demacracy and Capitalism. I want our ingenuity to pull us through these tough times. Politicians will not do anything to help. Government is not the answer and definitely not Big Government, which Obama wants. Liberals that I know complained about the Bush Tax cut and even the "stimulus" package, until they got the checks in the mail. I beg all of you go to both candidates web sites and actually read the views on the issues as I have. Then tell me which candidates plans and points make sense to you and what you believe. I personally am going to vote for McCain because he is the best candidate and the best man for the Job.

James, we have no way of telling if you were disillusioned with Bush or never believed him from the start. However, it seems like conservatives who claimed to be utmost supporters of Bush nowadays are starting to pin the "liberal" mantle on him as if to suggest that it wasn't conservative ideas that failed, but Bush's implementation of them or his betrayal of them. There have been many a conservative who has come here claiming that he never supported Bush or that he is a liberal when it comes to spending (spending like a drunk sailor is one of their favorite lines), etc.

To: ralph the wonder llama

 Oh yeah I remember in 2000 that was when Gore lost in FL and tried ti say that the Republicans Disenfrachised the voters right! Funny I also remember the DNC and State Democratic Leaders in MI and FL disenfranchise voters during the primaries. Yup that's the party I want the one where my vote will not count. Oooh they broke the rules, they don't deserve to have their votes counted. Talk about BS, You need to step back and really look at who you Nominee is.

FL = Florida
MI = Michigan

To: ralph the wonder llama

Just so you read this from the horses mouth. I did not vote in the last two elections. In 2000 I was not in this country and did not request an absentee ballot (Neither candidate was worth my Vote). In 2004 I was in Iraq and got my absentee ballot two months after the election (Didn't matter in the because Kerry would have sucked worse that Bush has). But it does not surprise me that you would take what I wrote out of context and add your own meaning to it. That is just one of the many Liberal tactics. Just to let you know if you want a Socialist country then Vote for Barack Hussein Obama. Me I love the Constitution and our Capitalist economy. The answer will never be found in Washington DC no matter who is in the White House.

Funny how conservatives like James C. thought George W. Bush was the greatest thing since sliced bread when his approval ratings were in the stratosphere and they elected him twice, even though by 2004 his policies, priorities and tactics were set in stone and clear to anyone who paid attention.

Now that the logical results of his policies -- on the economy, on foreign policy, on the politicization of everything having to do with government -- are all coming home to roost, "conservatives" have suddenly discovered that Bush is Not One of Them. In fact, he may even be a -- gasp! -- liberal!

Funny how, once a Republican disgraces himself, conservatives are quick to point out how "liberal" he actually is. Happened with Nixon, now it's happening with Dumbya.

What a crock of sh!t.

R E M E M B E R:
When Tony defends the Worst Bush Administration, he's defending criminals, liars and cheats.

I bet Tony thinks he's being patriotic...
I think he's being a bit psychotic.
