And that we didn't know which groups were connected to whom. But can anyone explain to me why, in their wildest dreams, the good ol US of A hasn't figured out that you have to deal with both groups ? (not to mention Kurds. Not to mention that both the Shia and Sunni are themselves, not homogeneous) It was bad enough that we invaded without understanding the whole Shia Sunni thing.
