Look at the weasels scurrying to throw Dear Leader under the bus!!!

Just like there were no Nazis in Germany at the end of WWII…in a few months’ time, there won’t be a single Republican left in America.

Of course, while Cheney’s wielding his shotgun on stage, the only word heard out in the audience will be “DUCK!!!!”

Every time one of them complains about Bush now, I just say, “Don’t look at me, I sure as Hell never voted for him!”

I watched the Foreign Affair Committe Hearing on torture June 4th. This is what Dana (Isn’t that a girly name) said:
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher on Wednesday dismissed the idea that taunting terrorism suspects with women’s panties is a form of torture.

In a debate about detainee treatment at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the California Republican cited panties eight times, arguing that making suspected terrorists wear women’s underwear on their heads isn’t demeaning and degrading enough to be called torture.

“You’re suggesting that the behavior of, what, panties on his head … is unacceptable interrogation technique for a man who was involved in a conspiracy to kill tens of thousands of Americans?” Rohrabacher asked during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing.

Rohrabacher was taking issue with FBI complaints about inappropriate and potentially illegal tactics used to get al-Qaida detainees to talk in the years following the Sept. 11 attacks. He said interrogation-by-panties was more akin to a “hazing pranks from some fraternity,” not torture.

Some interrogation tactics used _ even if not torture _ might not be pleasant, Rohrabacher said. “I mean, OK, describing his mother and sister as whores, that’s certainly not a nice thing to do,” he said.

An exasperated Rep. Bill Delahunt, D-Mass., reminded Rohrabacher that interrogators were also seen physically abusing detainees.

“This isn’t about panties on the head,” Delahunt said. “This is about physical pressure, waterboarding and other techniques that apparently were utilized at Guantanamo.”

Rohrabacher made a final point.

“I, in no way, will ever apologize that someone put panties on the head of this 9/11 terrorist and treated him without respect,” he said. “That man should have no respect.”

Seriously: Hint to Dems: Be prepared to tie the repubs to Bush. Get the pictures of Bush giving his speech and the repugs lauding him. Get the pictures of McCain embracing him.

I know in my home state of Missouri, the state repubs are still marching lockstep with the failed Bush policies. Tie this around their neck!!!

Wouldn’t it be nice if Bush spoke every day at the convention…
… Reminding us of why we despise the sack of sh!t he is?

[Rohrabacher] said the president “should stay home from the Republican convention, and everybody would be better off.”

How the hell can we sell the suckers on the new chimp with Bush still around to remind everyone of just how badly they got screwed by the old chimp?

Good luck with that, Dana. Hard to blame this problem on the Dems, isn’t it.

The only thing these fascists didn’t do was salute their Supreme Leader with arms extended forth in 45degree angle, and sing “Sieg Heil!” in unison.

Like typical cowards, only now that Bush is on his way out with waning political power, do these people decide to “stand up”. Or at least put up a nice dog and pony show.

And yet they’re looking to elect someone who hardly differs from him. Go figure.
