Mississippi got coffee makers, pillowcases and dinnerware — all intended for victims of Hurricane Katrina.
The state’s Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks took more coffee makers, cleaning supplies and other items.

Plastic containers ended up with the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration.

Colleges, volunteer fire departments and other agencies received even more.

But the Mississippi hurricane victims who originally were intended to receive the supplies got nothing, a CNN investigation has found.

The Bush Administration doesn’t want anyone that is a democrat and/or disagrees with them. Former DOJ official, Ester McDonald is going to working at McDonalds real soon. They deserve to be held accountable and the American public deserve justice. This is a clear violation of the law, but do you think Bush knew about it?…hahaha

Was the DOJ weeding out perceived liberals or favoring conservatives’ with “family values,” aka: Christian fundamentalist agenda? I really wonder how much this has to do with a “fundamentalist” agenda. Certainly, with a Christian fundamentalist education, Esther Slater McDonald was in a good position at DOJ to pick other true believers. Maybe we should look more closely at who they accepted? For that matter, maybe we should take a look at how deep this goes, such as, is it possible most presidential appointees have been first, like minder fundamentalists and second, qualified or sort of qualified?

Sounds like a civil suit might be in order. How many of these crooks are going to walk away from their criminal behavior because they no longer work for the government? They need to go back to work for the government — making license plate in a federal penitentiary. If they aren’t going to be prosecuted, they need to have thei a$$es sued for every penny they’ve got. I am just so tired of this total lack of accountability.

Esther McDonald found one applicant “unacceptable” because of an admiration for Greenaction. Greenaction is an environmental group that holds corporate polluters and government accountable on issues of health & environmental justice. They also work for pollution prevention and non-toxic and non-nuclear alternatives. The other applicant that was “Unacceptable” had ties to the Poverty and Race Research Action Council. I get it, if you want to save the environment or help people out of poverty the DOJ is Not the place you want to work. Great message you’re sending Esther :( not.
