Swiss radio reported this rescue was orchestrated with a payoff of $20 million bucks, McCain was in Columbia when it happened, he claims he was “briefed” by the Columbian government, and wandered around long enough for it to happen. Republicans always take credit for stuff they didn’t do. Have you noticed?

I was just waiting for the moment when McCain started to take credit for it, making himself look “tough” on foreign policy by being in the right place at the right time (like Reagan) and sure enough, he’s doing it.

McCain is toast. Except for the GOP’s Diebold factor and their voter intimidation tactic it is likely the John McCain may receive a horrible beating at the polls. And he will deserve such a beating. What is he thinking? He is old, he now appears to be feeble, he is a huge flip-flopper (something his party populaized), he is a major fixure of the party that has driven our nation to its knees, he is a biggot, has an temper that is very evident. Above all, he now seems to be as quick on his feet as Dubya. Did you see him with the Viagra question? That was just awful.

More likely McCain was tipped off that a rescue was imminent and they waited until he got there to stage it. Which begs the question how long did they have to wait until he got there and how much more time was spent in captivity so he could brag that he was part of it.

Yesterday, McCain (jokingly?) told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review that “I’m happy to tell you that I orchestrated the rescue of those hostages.”

Looks as though McSame wants to match the worst president in US history in behaving like an uncouth and unthinking , compassionless assbag , too……Would McStupid take someone who would talk so flippantly and disrespectfully about his time as a POW , or claim they were personally responsible for his release ?

I don’t see that happening……..
