it’s really not about voting Democrat or Republican. it’s about WHO IS THE BETTER MAN, at this particular time in history to represent us? who is going to help America to reverse it’s UNSEEMLY REPUTATION in the eyes of the rest of world?

anyway, this guy is doing nothing but publicizing his own stupidity and shallow thinking. which in the end, will only have both republicans and democrates shaking their heads in disgust. he just hurt his own party.

Belac, Went after the wrong enemy? We didn’t even remotely look into Sadam until what 2+ years down the line from any of these events? How does that have any relevance to the argument at hand. “We went after the wrong enemy” lol, you’re a joke, and apparently this guy is too if he believes that. There’s no one enemy to go after to stop the terrorism from happening. Whatever steps we take towards stopping terrorism is a step in the right direction and showing that we can completely upheave a country under the reign of a dictator leader is a much more powerful statement than finding one guy in the middle of a mountain. There’s no short and simple answer, which is what most people are looking for, because today we’re obsessed with instant gratification. I’m not saying that there weren’t other motives behind going into Iraq but there are still some rays of light that came out of it.

Alright, well I hate to bust your bubble zoober, but Richard Clarke says that Clinton was better on terrorism than he could have hoped and that Bush dismissed him and avoided him for months and then went after the wrong enemy (Saddam)

Richard Clarke is a well-respected expert on counter-terrorism who served in four White Houses and was appointed by Reagan…

Alright, well I really hate to burst all your Liberal bubbles, but if you really think about it 9/11 pretty much happened as a result of the democratic party being in office the previous years… It’s known very well that a president has no effect his first year in office and that was Bush’s, and then on top of that it was not the Republicans that funneled all the money out of our intelligence agencies, in fact it was quite the opposite *gasp* the democratic party. I do not condone this billboard, but some of your comments are more than just remotely stupid

Jonsom… have any compelling reason that we should trust the ‘experts’ you put forward over Richard Clarke?
Considering Richard Clarke was who was appointed by Reagan (patron saint of all things rightwing) served with distinction through four presidents and is considered one of the premier experts on al Qaeda and counter-terrorism in general and was actually in the White House running the command center on 9/11 and you have put forward a reporter, a lawyer and yourself as experts… I ask again, why should we trust your experts over Richard Clarke?
Actually it’s not ’nuff said.

BTW- it’s funny how all the real ‘knowing and wise’ trolls disappear until they think no one will double check their posts and then they answer all the questions with one-liners… that’s how you roll? ’nuff said.

Lets not forget W spent 40% of his time on vacation leading up to 9/11. That’s while they dumped the bi-partisan commission report (Hart-Rudman) on dealing with terrorism. They also took subs off-station tasked with tracking bin Laden. Obviously, they too busy finalizing their plans on a hostile takeover bid of Iraq (see Cheney secret energy meetings). Did you ever hear the word ‘al Qaeda’ mentioned by this administration before 9/11? Neither did I.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think they let it happen on purpose to get their PNAC plan underway.
