Yep, ‘It is going to change the psychology’, which is exactly the game that his oil buddies are playing with America. They get what they want, or they take the country down until they get it. These high oil prices are like an economic ransom. The oil companies are in their Cheney backed win-win situation, and the American populace is in the usual position of lose-lose.

What is this, the Mandrake-the-Magician method of governing? Hypnotize us all into a reality that doesn’t exist?

McCain also wants to drill offshore because it will give us all a psychological boost.

What is with these people? What they don’t seem to “get” is that all the drilling in the world isn’t going to affect our “psychology” nearly as much as seeing the price of gas go down on the Citgo sign in our neighborhood.

The biggest problem we have, and I don’t know if it is surmountable, is the ignorant throwbacks that respond to the propoganda. How many clingers still think Obama is a Muslim?
