Obama wants to take the high road, but were the tables turned, the GOP, FAUX Opinion & Swift Boat types would not hesitate to use this stuff.

Surrogates and ads HAVE to come out to point out this stuff on the Tube, because many well meaning people don’t have YouTube.

Believe it or not, a lot of people still don’t have internet & email and so are only exposed to the cable garbage & AM radio thugs. Just the other night at a local Democratic town meeting, I spent a good bit of the time trying to debunk some of the mis-information. (Chinese actively drilling off Cuba, all the Gulf oil wells held up to Katrina, etc.)

Perfect. Gramm publicly refused to recant one word of his “nation of whiners” comment other than to lie about its meaning but privately apologized to McCain because the public comments which he believes to be true reflected badly on the candidate. Gramm knows his pejorative opinion of Americans is not popular with we the little people but will continue to advise McCain accordingly. McCain thinks this is swell.

McCain has become senile. Aside from that, he’s no where near as ignorant as Bush. Don’t let him fool you with his forgetful old man facade.

McCain now knows there were/are no WMDs in Iraq and yet he still thinks invading the country was a good idea. I’m pretty certain they lied to the Chimp to make him seem credible.

McCain has given plenty of signs that he is not a religious man, yet he is anti-abortion, misogynistic and racist on his own terms. The Chimp truly believes that his god talks to him, and therefore he acts out of the ignorance of his faith.

There in lies two examples of why McCain is worse and more intentionally dangerous. There are plenty more.

Link this item to the other story below that McCain missed the last two years worth of Senate Armed Services Committee meetings on Afghanistan. Now, what are we hearing through the MSM on these stories? How does it compare to the attacks on John Kerry for missing days in the senate during his campaign? How does it compare to the allegations that Gore was deceptive on the internet while McCain disowns and then re-embraces Gramm? Obama better get kicking with ads to define McCain for the slime that he has become. They are still far too close in the polls given the Bush years. The MSM will never tell the truth.

I am at a loss to see any value in the Rethuglican efforts to keep the quo in the same status except to perpetrate their own greed. It seems as though the politicians spin in their own orbit and conduct their own circle-jerk and expect everybody to accept their bleatings as true. Granted there are a few sheepies with IQs less than their shoe size that will believe all the claptrap but as we have seen they are about 20% of those polled. If the pollsters can’t rig their polls better than 20% then there really is a disconnect between the McSames and reality.

It is a given that McPain has no chance in hell of ever winning an honest election. It then behooves us to write him off and convince others, including TP, to focus on outing the entire Culture of Corruption commonly known as the GOP and ensure a completely honest election. TP should have a continuing DAILY post of all the Rethugs and Rethug sycophants who have been suspected, accused, arraigned, tried, and sentenced. The list should include their current political status and plans to run again so that our efforts can be concentrated in a drive to assure that no incumbent Rethug is reelected and that new faces are thoroughly examined to find the warts.
