Fox’s Brian Kilmeade: ‘There’s just as many convoy attacks in America as there are in Iraq.’
On the Brian and the Judge radio show today, Fox News host Brian Kilmeade presented his sunshine-filled vision of Iraq, declaring that “the Green Zone could come down in 6 months” and praising a new hotel to be built in Baghdad. His view was so optimistic he declared that there were “just as many convoy attacks” in the streets of America as there are now in Iraq:
KILMEADE: Do you think one of those people could have said, Barack, now that you’re sitting down here in a wonderful summer day, now that we understand that the green zone could come down in 6 months, they’re building– a five-star hotel’s been cleared to be built inside Baghdad, now that you understand that convoy attacks are down to 1 percent — that’s the same percentage that’s in America! I think there’s just as many convoy attacks in America as there are in Iraq–
JUDGE: Now let’s not get carried away. When’s the last time there was a convoy attack in America?
KILMEADE: Okay, fine. Can you roll with me for second?

He was also an anchor for Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Because you have few news sources to access (Fox news, cartoon network, etc...) I will help out with your question.
The corporate media are mainly owned by national and international business conglomerates. Because they are owned by these groups, they have to be very sensitive to their corporate masters and government regulators. Consequently, those national and international conglomerates try to please everyone, by pleasing no one. They also know that if they come down too hard on your idiot president, they may have trouble with their new license renewal or to purchase another station - things like that. The last 7+ years have been brutal for the MSM, which is why the internets have become such a useful source of 'administration free' information. Besides without TP, you would have absolutely nothing to do.
Again, I don't expect you to understand this. I wanted to try.

It's a conundrum. It's a tough one for the "conservatives" braying about how successful that the RightWingTalk shows are when the vast majority of electronic media is "proven" to be liberally biased, because they're always yapping about how the success of Limbaugh et al prove the country is "conservative".
And none of them ever address the issue that the MSM is owned, lock, stock and barrel by some of America's biggest corporations. Why, one wonders, would these huge corporations continue to fund a "liberal" media?

You have to have a live audience in there or they can't move the "FOX & Really Good Friends" towels/merchandise from the rooms with the curtains. The number of attacks on traffic in Iraq equals the number of attacks in the USA.
But how many miles of highway are there in the USA vs. Iraq? How many people are there in the USA vs Iraq ? How many total miles are driven per year in the USA vs. Iraq ?
One of these has to go into the denominator to be able to make a comparison. Otherwise it is like saying the number of murders in a small town of 10,000 people is equal to the number of murders in the states west of the Mississippi - therefore they are equal.

I just heard about a convoy attack ...this guy in Washington ran into Novak's car...must have been a suicide bomber. Luckily it didn't detonate and Novak got a way until being stopped by a left wing biker who is now trying to blame Novak for the whole incident!
